The Israeli Prison Service has begun preparations to introduce the death penalty for Palestinian prisoners, Israeli media reported on Sunday.
According to Israel’s Channel 13, preparations include the creation of a facility dubbed “Israel’s Green Mile”, where executions will take place
The report added that executions will be carried out by hanging, with three guards pressing the trigger simultaneously.

The law will initially target Palestinians accused of being members of Hamas’ Nukhba - its elite unit - who took part in the October 2023 attacks.
Those accused of serious attacks in the West Bank would follow.
The legislation would not apply to Jewish Israelis who kill Palestinians in similar circumstances.
No mention of a heightened (or even ANY) burden of proof, but specific mention of ethnic and religious favoritism.
The only way they could make it any more obvious would be to literally name the places “Apartheid Extermination Camps For Extra Ethnic Cleansing of Others That We Consider Subhuman” but I guess they’d need pretty big signs or to use the unwieldy initialism AECFEECTWCS and who has time for that when you have a genocide to commit?
Note that Westbank Palestinians aren’t given trials at all. They’re judged by secret military tribunals. At that point, talk of burden of proof seems quaint.

At least initially, eventually they will run into efficiency issues and they will need to upgrade their methods. if you have 100 people you want to kill, hanging is fine, but what about 1000? 10,000? 100,000? hanging is just too slow.
