    We should strive to automate as many jobs as possible. Not try to keep tedious jobs from disappearing.

    Those multibillion dollar corporations will have to keep adapting to the world, one way or another. They should be able to handle an automated world, Or we might need to bring out the torches and pitchforks.

    Companies decide themselves what products to supply, how they are created, what materials are used, how they are packaged, how much they are transported, …

    And all of those decisions only take money into consideration.

    That is not on the consumer.





  • Depends on the programming job.

    In my amateur experience, the most difficult math I had to do was use the Pythagorean theorem to calculate a point that was spinning around an other point.

    But I can see needing to be able to use matrices in some instances.

    Being good at math allows programmers to code more efficient systems. Instead of doing multiple complicated lines, it could all be incorporated into a single efficient equation.

    Most of programming is just logic based. Although math is also logic based. So take from it what you will.
