Yeah the best option is the old PC you already have. Unless you’re transcoding video or into LLMs it will be more than enough.

Yes the way I see it, is if someone is spending $60/month on 3-5 creators that’s still more money going to “the arts” than if the same person spent double that on streaming services.

Thank you I was actually so confused lmao I’m like, are they distributing this ET reel in pieces?

I got the lifetime plan on Black Friday back when it was $0.00 I’m really glad I did that now

Thrift stores often have old laptops for cheap

There are nice friendly frontends for this, Yunohost or CasaOS spring to mind but might be too simplistic if you already are familiar with Docker.

If I could trade in all my unplayed games I could afford a hundred Steam Machines.

“The Jury voted against Jones, therefore it means he gets to keep InfoWars and also not pay them.” is wild.

That’s honestly beside the point. This case wasn’t about his “grift” it was about harassment of the Sandy Hook families, who have not seen a penny from Jones yet, despite winning the case two years ago. The judge tried to come up with convoluted logic to make sure Jones retains control of IW despite, again, losing the case the judge presided over. It’s insanity.

Rumble, where he’s still using the InfoWars branding:

It’s absolutely crazy the gymnastics the judicial system is making to keep Jones on the air and prevent the families of the Sandy Hook victims from seeing restitution.
This shutdown was Jones’s decision not the courts or The Onion:
A judge granted Jones’ request to block the sale, arguing that another offer by a company that happened to operate Jones’ online supplements store had been higher. But in April, there seemed to be a workaround — Jones’ estate had run out of money and instead of buying it in an auction, The Onion could just pay rent in a licensing deal. On Wednesday, a Texas appeals court stopped the transfer again, temporarily blocking the asset handover.
And so it seems Jones, unable to pay the rent, left on his own accord.

They must be doing some voodoo since Tidal doesn’t let you use the same account for multiple concurrent streams.

What’s going on here? Is it just pulling from someone’s Tidal account?

That was actually super helpful, thank you.

That’s cool, it just… does those things? How does it connect to those apps? I can’t even get Gemini to set a reminder and that’s on a Google device.

OP said coding AND “some automation”, what is being automated?

Just curious, what does “some automation” entail? I thought LLMs could only work with text, like summarize documents and that sort of thing.
You: “Now listen child, and heed my tale of woe…”
Them: “drop it one banana”
