We were talking about this the other day. Is it faster, or does it appear faster since they have removed so many cashiers? Like 20 lanes and 1 cashier, with 4 self checkouts.

NewNewAugustEast@lemmy.zipto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•Every support thread on Reddit is literally this nowEnglish8·6 days agoReddit already only allows Google to scrape them now, so as far as I am concerned it is a dead site. Removing my comments is worth it to not feed the monopoly that is Google.
Not sure why you would care either way, it gets the point across. Were you hoping to rent it?
I was going to say that to make this accurate they need to show the complete car for windows.
There is a copilot in the passenger seat writing down everything you do and making suggestions left and right, and the screen has to have ad’s on it.
The back seats are empty and the rear doors are locked because you don’t havn’t licensed them.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but that is a fairly large number (I think Microsoft SQL is limited to 2000 or something like that) AND this seems like a terrible design pattern.

The kids really don’t give a shit what other kids are wearing. In some ways it’s bizarre given that wasn’t the case when I was a kid. But in many ways it’s great. I rarely ever hear of bullying, kids just are themselves.
Of course thats woke, because they actually speak to the kids and tell them to consider others and will not tolerate intolerance. So I expect schools like these are few and far between.

For what it’s worth I have a printer that won’t work on windows no matter what I do. But it just works on Linux, copy and scan with no effort on my part.
It would seem weird it isn’t supported, but also weird that you are trying to find manufacture drivers. Shouldn’t be needed.
NewNewAugustEast@lemmy.zipto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•*Permanently Deleted*English1·2 months agoSo I got curious, and the instances are on a different scale. Where a person gets a hold of the master key and steals ALL the packages. Which is kind of what I was alluding to: it all breaks down once the person who handles the package decides to go rogue.
Yes it is less frequent and lockers are safer of course.
NewNewAugustEast@lemmy.zipto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•*Permanently Deleted*English1·2 months agoExcept there are cameras on porches too, so it isn’t like they got away with it, but it doesn’t seem to matter right? In a locker situation who is going to review thefootage, how would you go about that? Couldn’t they put an empty package in there and claim someone else did it anyways?
If I am on vacation I miss about 95% of all breakfasts in Hotels. They are too early.
And if it is a free breakfast it usually is garbage anyways.
There are exceptions but they are very rare.
NewNewAugustEast@lemmy.zipto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•*Permanently Deleted*English6·2 months agoWould it matter in this case though? If the person delivering it was going to steal it, they would just tell you it was in the locker anyways right?
