It must be unbearable for them.
It must be unbearable for them.
But are you gonna return something for this method??? You said you’d return an integer, yet there is no return statement!
I’m afraid I’m not following. The solution to what?
Edit: Sorry, I misread your comment.
Not only more readable than A and B but I would argue it’s also easier to remember who did what a few sentences or paragraphs earlier since Alice and Bob invoke slightly less generic mental images than A and B. For example one is a woman and the other one is a man, maybe even some person or character you know.
And now that I’m thinking about it, the different gender also makes it easier to keep track of who does what because different pronouns are used (at least in English and many other languages).
Imagine running out of ideas before having named one after every kid. Now that would be awkward.
That would make sense. Thanks for coming up with an explanation. I did wonder when I thought about this earlier.
There used to be this thing going around on pre-smartphone phones (via Bluetooth, I assume) that showed a pocket watch closing and when it was fully closed, the phone shut down. We all thought it was hilarious to send it to as many people as possible and watch them panic. I don’t even know what format it was to look like a normal gif or video and do that. I certainly didn’t even care back then.
Thanks, I saw embedded pictures before, but didn’t know how to do that. Now I also learned something new today.
Though for xkcd comics there is an alt-text with an additional punchline for every comic (tap alt-text on mobile link or hover over the comic with the cursor on PC), so it’s not ideal.
That’s hilarious. Guess you’re one of today’s lucky 10.000.
I’m sorry, I never can resist poking the bear.
