I agree, that would be great. But it’s never going to happen. First off, robots need maintenance and supervision. But let’s say we have solved that and we got a robot eco system where they maintain themself without going full terminator. Then we have the human factor. What happens to humans when they have too much time on their hands and get bored. They destroy things. We see this over and over again. This is why we can’t have nice things.

Identify the ones who match your salary level, then observe how little work they can get away with. Then set your engagement level a few steps above that. That’s the sweet spot. If they get fired, adjust accordingly.
Also, personality is often more important than how hard you work.
It has always been like that. We invent machines to help us be more productive. Not to work less, but to produce more. Or the same, but with less people. And every time people protest because they are losing their jobs. Time passes, new types of jobs pop up. Rinse and repeat.
That being said. I’m not particularly on board with A.I. Sure, it can do some really impressive things, but at the same time I think it’s been hyped way above its limits, and I’m not a fan of its environmental footprint. I just don’t think the result is worth price. But I guess only time will tell.

Now that’s a good friend. Feeling sorry for his friend who can’t find a girlfriend. Then disappears in Thailand so his friend can meet the love of his life.
Because it’s becoming mainstream. And for some people, that means they have to dis on it to feel special.
Use the OS/Distro that works for you. If Windows or MacOS hits the spot for you, use that. There are no wrong answers here.

I just remind myself that, if their first comment is unintelligent, their following comments usually don’t exceed that level.
I predict it will be worse or better than 2025. Or maybe the same.
I’m very bad at networking. I blame DNS.

3·6 months agoIt’s always good to maintain a healthy skepticism. Science studies are only as correct as present knowledge allows and results therefore changes as our knowledge expands. There are plenty of examples where once scientific facts have been proven wrong.
Also, as you mention, some studies are fabricated only to serve specific agendas.

Me: Oh and Mint, could you also add my old printer that I can’t get to work on any other OS I’ve tried?
Mint: Sure thing.
You complain when you hope it will get better. You switch when you realize it won’t. Just like relationships.
OMG you’re right! I do look like Ryan Gosling.
