That “dumb” name is just name in another language 🫠

There’s no universal “phonetic spelling.”

Every language and its user have unique accent and they will intreprete phonitic spelling differently.

I wonder if people that JavaScript is indirectly named from an ethnic group in Indonesia.

Javanese ethnic -> Java Island -> Javanese coffee -> Java programming language -> JavaScript

I mean for digital content. I live in Indonesia, and majority of people cannot afford to pay digital service, but an ads of foods or essential stuff works.

TikTok already did this in Indonesia.

They remove any videos that being critical towards TikTok. Especially, they’re trying to flood Indonesian market with cheap Chinese goods via TikTok Shop.

So, exactly how it works in Southeast Asia, especially Indonesian.

They speak native local language from their city, other two from other islands, English for international language, sometimes Chinese, Malay, Arabic, Korean, or Japanese. Not to forget the national language, Indonesian.
