I cleaned up when I moved, so the oldest gadget I have right now is a 15 year old MSI laptop, still happily running with linux.

Got a call from a company I didn’t recognize and I was too innocent to not question how they even got my number. Yep, you guessed it, it was an MLM. It was the mid 2000s, so it wasn’t really well known as an MLM or pyramid scheme at the time. Hell, I couldn’t even understand why I was sitting through a presentation and not doing an interview. I realized it wasn’t a job when they started asking for money to commit. Barely 20 me still didn’t realize it’s a scam, but fortunately I literally had no money so couldn’t offer anything either way lol. After a lot of prodding, they finally let me go if I wrote down the names and number of 5 people I know. Then I realized that’s how they got my number. Someone in my circle went through the same thing and gave my contact info away.

Hard agree. The only issue is frozen sweet potato fries are way more expensive than regular. I try to make my own at home but can’t get the same crispness in the air fryer.

Post pandemic, I only go if it’s a movie worth seeing in IMAX or Dolby. And movies like those are like once a year.

I’m lucky that my city has a true IMAX theater and unlucky that it doesn’t have reserved seating, in this day and age. So I have to arrive an hour early just so I can stand in line and get a good seat.

I don’t think taller trucks make you less exhausted. It boils down to how comfy the seats are. And cars and smaller SUVs typically have more comfy seats, unless you have a newer truck that boasts a car-like ride and comfort.

As for tips: Check out some videos on how to properly adjust your driving position. Get something for lumbar support if your car doesn’t have it. And take breaks, don’t force yourself to drive all the way in one go.

Every few hours or so, refresh the air in the cabin by opening a window for a few seconds.

I really hate how mobile hotspot is considered separate from regular data. It’s the same especially if your mobile speeds are are capped anyway. It’s like dental not being included in your health insurance as if your teeth aren’t part of your body.

I use a thick pillow to hug and a folded blanket for my head. The blanket’s thickness can be customized to fit. The real problem is in hotels were both pillows are usually huge, so it’s literally a pain in the neck.
