I sincerely hate websites that sell super specific things, because where it should say the price, it says “send us an email to request a quote!”
Motherfuckers.

And we’re jaded to the cold war now. The threat of getting nuked has amplified shitloads in recent years but we’re numb to it. We all just kind of accept that at any moment there could be a blinding light and then its all over with no warning, and theres nothing we can do about it, so whatever.
I imagine it would have been truly terrifying in the early days when the threat was novel.
My dad was pushing me to do it when I was a LEET PRO GAMER but I told him theres no point, nobody can ever make money like that, ill just get a job.
5 years later, when my skills had faded, apparently what made me a loser back then is actually worth millions.
Im still fuming.
Monetisation is absolutely the core of the problem.

“We get record temperatures every year, its nothing new”
I think its people being bitten for the first time. I hadn’t been there in years because theres not one near me. When I went a few months back I did do a double take checking the receipt with what I actually received.
I was expecting a low-end shitty budget option. The game changed and I didnt expect it.
Best not to think about it really unless you think you have a way to change things for the better.
Well if the crowd is booing you, it can mean you’re wrong, or that you’re bad at the thing youre trying to do, or that you’re performing to the wrong audience.
If the crowd is cheering you, they’re communicating that they like you or that you did good or that youre simply saying what they want to hear.
In the OPs case, where they’re pressing the down arrow way more than the up arrow, it implies that they’re in the wrong place as an audience. To extend the shitty analogy I started with, if I only love classic music and soft jazz, I’m not going to have a good time in a mosh pit. I should get out of the mosh pit and find a venue that plays classical music, instead of coming back every night and booing.

buy several sizes to see which one fits
My wife does this with dresses when shopping online, its a massive pain in the ass.
Why do boos and cheers matter in a crowd?
question about something specific (3w ago)
nvm figured it out (3w ago)
what was the solution? Im having the same issue (5m ago)
[MOD] necroing resolved topics is against the TOS. Read the rules before posting. Banned 4 lyf sunnnnn (1m ago)

You’ve had some cowboys in here

Turns out you need the orion launcher for this particular game, which is impossible to gmlog into because youre logged into the EA launcher too, but your passwords are different too? How did you manage that?
Anyway, these launchers are for our convenience so just enjoy the convenience

That actually sounds pretty cool

Make sure you can choose between male and female to get some free promo from the “everything is woke now” crowd.

A platform section for no reason whatsoever even though your game engine is not designed for it and it sucks all the fun out of the game for about 5 minutes of dying to get past 15 seconds of actual game.
“Quirky” loading info. Initializing graphics. Booting level. Rendering shaders. Kicking the dog up the arse.
Past that point its work. Just like work it helps to want to do it in the first place, and there are rewards in it for you, but its still a conscious effort.
If you only stick to the big media points, he seems a pretty heroic figure, still standing after getting invaded by one of the world’s superpowers (inb4 corrections and shit - Russia is the big bad in basically any modern conflict film. We’re talking layman optics here).
When you show somebody a program you’ve made, only show them the results, never show them the guts. Either they dont know what theyre looking at and will fill your head with ego-bursting praise, or they know exactly what they’re looking at and leave you feeling worthless.
