Sometimes you don’t need to know how the clock works, you just need to know what time it is.

There are exceptions to every rule, but random people on the internet who you aren’t being paid to solve the problem for by a very large majority would benefit more from education than having their problem solved for them. Teach a man to fish and all that.
Time management is different for everyone, and when you’re on a deadline, or just dealing with a one-off situation, the extra research has no value.
