    Generally speaking, I don’t think calls to the governor’s office should be part of any health care decision making process (this will require radical changes to the US healthcare system).

      It’s worse than that, I skimmed the article and she seems to be a republican who supported the ban on abortions, only now that she is affected does she understand the warning that this would happen.

        You should read a little more closely before you draw conclusions. Your skimming missed the part that directly contradicts you:

        Waldorf didn’t oppose abortion, but she had never considered that the law could apply to her.

        Aside from that, it doesn’t even mention her personal voting record, only that she was raised by Republicans.

        She didn’t oppose abortions, she was just too privileged to realize what the abortion ban would mean for miscarriage care.
