Nope, coffee won't give you extra energy. It'll just borrow a bit that you'll pay for later

Feeling tired and groggy in the morning may well lead you to crave a coffee boost. But is it a gift or just a loan in terms of energy?

Coffee in the afternoon as opposed to the morning can help you avoid that afternoon crash too, rather than contribute to it.

That’s been my strategy as well. I find I have enough energy early in the day, but it’s nice to get a boost in the afternoon.

What would be a good time to drink coffee then? What time do you drink it?

I like to have coffee around 13-14 o’clock, I find it gives me enough boost for the rest of the day.

Ah, nice, I’ve tried this today after 2 days of not drinking coffee (I was feeling super trashed) and I felt pretty neat.

The Magical Fruit

The Oromo people would customarily plant a coffee tree on the graves of powerful sorcerers. They believed that the first coffee bush sprang up from the tears that the god of heaven shed over the corpse of a dead sorcerer.
