  • Yes, both sides belong to the same corprate elite/oligarchs. But there isn’t much in terms of a third party. It would need to be some grassroots stuff, like a town of 10k people elect a socialist mayor, then 4 towns in the state, then a senator or governor, etc. There is no 3rd option right now and of course we should vote for the lesser of two evils.

I would love to start this but I have work tomorrow :/ did u and a bunch of other people want to pitch in like $5 / month for me so I can quit my job and start a 3rd politician party? Would you trust me? There’s just no good options for the average person who is mostly just focused on survival :(

  • They are the weakest and loneliest among us, hence why they are so susceptible to even the dumbest of narratives. If it weren’t for their hatred I’d feel pity for them. But what you’re suggesting is no small feat, we would be up against literal decades of brainwashing.

Something I’ve noticed is that whenever a maga says their political take, simply asking them for details sends them into a rage, cuz they don’t know any lol. Watch some Isaiah Thomas clips, the man has the patience of god. Maybe there’s something in that we could use?

The more I see of the world, on a macro and micro level, the more I believe that the generational task young people will face is stepping into a dying world, the effects of which they did not cause, and be the ones to deal with every mess the boomers are leaving behind. And the only way they succeed in that, is together. And of course the world is seemingly as divided as ever right now.

    What do you think?

  • Lol they aren’t concerned with people “running out of money” they’re concerned nobody will buy their products. Which could be solved by giving people more money but that’s not an option for them.

Klarna and 8 year car loans are just the beginning. Trump was serious when he said we should do 100 year mortgages, THAT is the solution they are looking for. Not, “how can we get people more money to buy things”. But more “how can we get people with no money to continue buying things”.

They cost money to open and run. Best case is a group of somewhat wealthy friends pool their money to start a co-op. Idk how lending policies are towards worker co-ops.

I worked in a metal fab shop and ppl talked about unionizing. I brought up a co-op or other employee owned models but they said 1 machine alone can easily be $500,000+ for a shitty used one and none of us could get that kind of money.
