… Ah, ok. Then jobs must pay that and then some, right?

Reading your source, it sure sounds like genocide.
That said, it seems like a summary rather than a detailed report and I can’t find the source in the page.
The other people responding to you are saying “did you read the statement by the perpetrators of the genocide denying it?” Sounds like a rather silly statement.
Can’t really weigh in on this but on the face of it it does feel like tankie behaviour.
EDIT: I’ve now skimmed the UN Human Rights report and it’s definitely genocide. The only possible claim against this is that all of their information is false, which seems unlikely.
I’ll also add that the first response above linking to the UN source I’ve seen copy pasted elsewhere. That doesn’t necessarily mean much but, yeah.
That’s fair enough.
I think there is some rule that you just provide contact details somewhere on your website, though some companies try super hard to hide it.
The problem is sometimes the contact method is 12 layers of FAQ pages and web forms. Trying to reduce load is one thing, actively avoiding resolving issues is another.
This really is a fucking clown show.
I assume what’s happening here is that they have a bot that will reply a few canned response vaguely related to what you’ve said in the one message.
I don’t suppose there is a way to actually reach a human? This shit should really be illegal.
I may not like many of what I know of China’s policies (genocide, suppression of free speech etc.), but this is one of the things they have done well.
I remember a story a while back about an energy company suing to get a church to take down their solar panels because they were selling their power cheap to residents.
Sadly energy company won.

You can tell they are really improving competition and efficiency by raising the C - suite salaries.
Been there too. The advantage of writing the document though is that it means you can point people to it at least.
The next stage in personal growth is to help others grow more competent and learn to delegate. That means you can then focus on the stuff only you can do.
At least that’s what I’m learning.

I wrote my CV site in React and Next.js configured for SSG (Static Site Generation) which means that the whole site loads perfectly without JavaScript, but if you do have JS enabled you’ll get a theme switching and print button.
That said, requiring JS makes sense on some sites, namely those that act more like web apps that let you do stuff (like WhatsApp or Photopea). Not for articles, blogs etc. though.
Wow. I thought only the right had conspiracy theorists.
If you’re homeless in the UK, and especially if you are disabled, you can easily spend 20+ hours per week filing complaints, reasonable adjustments, writing suitability reviews, organising care, trying to get benefits etc.
Just to protect yourself from abuse in the system and to get the right to live a life approaching that of a normal person.
Instead of contributing to society, you have to fight bureaucratic battles just to get what you legally are entitled to.
So effectively, you are working one of the most stressful and bureaucratic jobs imaginable, with ‘colleagues’ that question and deny everything you say, and if you fail you may freeze to death on the streets, and all without pay.
I mean born into the mid-90s. I was a child - early teenager when this aired.
Never heard of it until now. I assume this refers to the “2001-2010 American medical comedy-drama” show.
For the record I more or less fit into the late millennial generation.
As much as I don’t like a lot of things done by America (or most countries for that matter), this is kind of cringe?
