That’s great to hear. Less time than I spend when I go, but for first time trips it’s a decent amount of time for people to get a feel for the place.

Is this still the transit visa free policy? To my understanding you have to be transiting through China to another country for this to work, not going to China as your destination. Getting the visa is kinda a pita because there’s only 5 consulates in the US and you are assigned to one based on your region. I had to fly to Chicago to get mine, so it was basically like 2 vacations.
Before Gadaffi, the largest portion of the Libyan economy came from scrapping abandoned WWII era tanks. It was absolutely miserably poor and underdeveloped.
What evidence do we have of that? A peace deal was already talked through, but fell through. It did not have any such provisions in it.
Are people in Ukrainian controlled territories free to protest against forced conscription and withdrawal of passports? No, they will get put into prison, and given a choice to join the military or serve a long sentence.
There is historical record in the west going back to at least WWII acknowledging that area as Chinese territorial waters. Just because you only follow news cycles while they’re hot, doesn’t mean all of history prior to now stops existing.
Splinter Cell 1 was the first game I got when I built one of my computers, and I went out and bought a surround sound set up just for it. Totally worth it. It blew my mind after dealing with chintzy desktop 2.0 setups and onboard speakers before that my whole life.
I still use those, how else can you hear your POST codes?
I used to be extremely critical of China And the CCP. Used to post publicly on my Facebook and other social media about them. I just got back in April from China after deprogramming myself from decades of Sinophobia, and I had absolutely no issues.
Basically all big tech companies have three letter spooks in their upper ranks. They’re all compromised and you should treat them as such.
Yeah Malcom X was clearly trying to divide the left.
Leaders in the US have wanted to use them multiple times an had to be talked down by cooler heads.
I’ve been using Mozilla products for going on 20 years on my windows PCs, and other than websites arbitrarily deciding they don’t work on non chrome browsers, I’ve rarely had issues.
Today at work someone posted in the it slack channel complaining that chrome has auto restarted three times got mandatory updates in the last day wondering if he could get it stopped because it was messing with his work. I’m just over here using the same Firefox instance for months at a time, and even when I have to restart my whole computer it perfectly pulls up my previous session, even distributing the windows across their previous monitors. I never really liked chrome, idk how it caught on so much with people. I’d legit rather use pre-chromium edge, at least it was fast.
My wife learned English from Friends lmao, this article isn’t wrong.
Noodles come from Asia, not Italy.
Tomatoes come from America.
So not much in spaghetti is from Italy.
When I first hugged my little brother after I switched to vaping he said, “you don’t smell like cigarettes” and my heart just broke. I can’t ever go back, even if vaping isn’t really helping me quit nicotine, it’s still saving them from being around the smell like I was when I was a little kid, and I hated that damn smell. Should’ve never started, but it’s easier said than done.
No worries, it’s only one example also. They have better maternity laws than my country, better sick time laws, better overtime pay, better holiday pay, more holidays. It’s not perfect, nowhere is, but it’s not the land of sweat shops most would have you believe it is.
Yeah Gadaffi did a lot for the nation, he was genuinely a revolutionary change in Libyan conditions.
