If you’re like me, it’s a great opportunity to ruin the family picnic with politics and pressuring maga relatives. Likely won’t change any minds, but maybe I’ll luck out and not get invited next year.

If seated near the left wall, the sounds that should be mixed to the left side of the scene are too loud, overwhelming the whole precievable audio mix and sounding more mono than it should. Sort of loses the whole “immersive surround sound” aspect that I’m spending my dollars for.

Fair, I’m probably bit more picky I can’t stand being anywhere outside the center radius. Too close to walls bugs me because the audio volume and balance is off lol

Worth pointing out this wasn’t really a possibility before theaters switched to reserved spots. I remember having to be ass in seat before the projector even fired up if you wanted a good spot on a premiere weekend. Sucked an hour suffering through preshow trivia, ads, and trailers.

Honestly I’ll disable linting across entire files during these kinds of refactors because it’s annoying having build output littered with unused imports and format warnings while I’m still working on a solution. Requires some extra diligence to re-enable and clean up before pushing though.

I can’t explain the marketing, they call all these things loofahs. Just a normal sponge at the end of mine lol. Mostly just get something on a stick and enjoy the same smug cleanliness.

Most of my coworkers never turn their machine off, but I appreciate windows taking it’s time. Warming up the work laptop in the morning is like a ceremony at this point. Solid 10-15 minutes to grab coffee, have a chat, check the feeds… Lol I wonder how much time/productivity is collectively wasted across the country from this crap.

They have two challenges working against them: the user database was compromised and doxxed everyone - makes it less likely the staff and audience returns. Then the source code was leaked as well, exposing a massive amount of vulnerabilities that were never patched over the years. With the vulnerabilities public now, it’s unlikely the admins can relaunch before fixing it. Most assume they don’t have the resources to reach a secure state.

Linehan has become much worse since that controversy, he’s been on a proper trans hate crusade since like 2019. It wasn’t about being insensitive, he’s completely deranged and the episode was just an early slip.
