Sometimes fixes require sacrifice which is the dilemma presented by the meme.
The way I read it then is that there is no optimistic side for left since that’s the “do nothing” choice and the “take action” choice is the right side.

That should be “risk spending life in prison” – best to stay optimistic when making long term life plans.
You should have bought a squirrel.
Has he actually said he’d pardon anyone but himself?
I don’t anticipate him doing anything that doesn’t benefit himself based on his previous behavior.
Microsoft and Nvidia are investing but they are both positioned to gain a return on investment by cloud hosting and hardware sales respectively.
Apple dropping out indicates they saw behind the curtain, did the math and realized they can create their own platform for less.
There is no path to profitability for them. Unlike other recent billion dollar tech companies there are no human workers to squeeze. Hardware doesn’t work for less than minimum wattage.
Usenet is the way but I’ve never witnessed someone who torrents see the light in a penny comment thread. Few people truly understand opsec and how to quantify their own risk surface, but those who do will gravitate towards Usenet.
Speed is also a factor. Casuals don’t understand what it is to grab a release before a torrent has found the first seeder.
A rockstar developer doesn’t churn out unmaintainable, by definition.
The number of people who think they are rockstar developers but clearly aren’t is probably close to the number of cover bands who see themselves as undiscovered rockstars.
I’ve worked with people like this, their best hope is to fail upwards into management.
The only way to know if you are competent coder is for other coders to tell you. If none are telling you, your imposter syndrome isn’t.
There are other signs as well but these aren’t taught in formal education. An example being the ability to recognize how your old code could be improved. The way requirements stack over time makes this a certainty in any product.
Those metal Bobby pins broken in half do wonders. Nice sharp hook for scrapping and unpacking the lint.
Just don’t scrap it across the connector pins. It would probably be fine but that’s never where the lint ends up.
Alternatively, snapping your fingers stops time but snapping again doesn’t start it back up.
Troll or not. Their statement is actual right wing dogma any my comment applies equally to anyone who adheres to it.
Who the fuck do you expect to make your sandwich?
You are not entitled to slave wage workers.
Looking down on those serving you food is elitist.
You would definitely would have owned slaves.
Try staggering those start days and times. A flood of reminders is easier to ignore than if they were spread out across the two weeks and the time is set to when you are most likely to be ready to act.
“Always code as if the guy who ends up maintaining your code will be a violent psychopath who knows where you live.”
👏Always👏be👏refactoring👏
50/50 chance they believe you.
You missed the part about hours spend in detention.
Punishment is not an accepted means of instruction because it causes this type of trauma response.
They may have learned French but they also learned to hate learning French which is counter- productive to continuing with French education.
It may not be monthly but there are companies that will monitor your levels and schedule refills as needed. If you’re getting refilled per month you probably need a bigger tank. Most people are using propane for heating and don’t need it refilled in the summer.
There are also options to spread the cost over the year so you’re making payments each month. That is sort of a subscription but when I think subscription I think of a service you’re charged for whether you use it or not and not financing.
Tell me you don’t have children without telling me you don’t have children.
