The only arguments you win are the ones you don’t participate in. Internet arguments are a race to the bottom of who can waste the least time.
The evil version of this is when people cite a click bait article, you go to the article and read the attached study and the study is not backing up their claims in any meaningful way. Like come on bro you clearly haven’t read this study don’t cite it and claim I need to educate myself.

Sure but you’re overlooking why people are getting angry which is largely because it points out an uncomfortable truth. I also find it interesting that there’s an outrage from the “think of the children” crowd but like if showing children the reality of something is outrageous then surely the thing that is being showed should be considered outrageous too
