This is legitimately the best usage of this meme I’ve seen in years. Termination signals hnnngg
Yes… can’t tell if black metal or hip hop
If only my happiness supported non-blocking I/O
Seriously? Dammit
Me too, Bilbo.
Best simile ever. Still relatable. More so, even. Pity I don’t have a ring of power to show for it
The “Python” thing is obviously wrong but this meme also exhibits an example of AI getting things wrong in a subtle, insidious way that you wouldn’t even notice unless you already knew: the Bean won’t actually be registered in the Spring container as the class is missing a @Configuration annotation
Classic
Yep those m2 hat things look pretty useful. Thanks for the info! Portable USB drives are something I’d overlooked.
Ahh, externally powered. Thanks for the info! I’m gonna look into such external HDD enclosures…
Are you able to easily attach spinning rust hard drives to those? If so, how? I think those things use more than 5W on their own. Biggest question I have before planning a horizontal raspi setup. Currently I use old x64 PC boxes for self hosting.

Monday-Friday is just one big, messy blur at this point.
Absolutely proprietary
The linked article says the artificial magnetosphere would encompass the entire planet and points out this includes two critical places where the most atmosphere is lost.
So yes by virtue of it encompassing the whole planet it does cover those two places… I suppose they wanted to specifically mention them
see if the LB is accessible directly via the internet. DNS management at medium sized corpos is usually a clusterfuck so it’s definitely a non-zero chance.
Can confirm lmao
Saruman was right
Yeah, exactly. My attitude is you can cook your own damn books, don’t expect me to log anything other than the actual accurate time. Although I work at a company where we have no time tracking at all, good to be free of it
Hehe yep I got to hear many of those rants too. Its like, uhh great, shall we use a magic science machine to artificially stretch the year out or what… like what do you want us to do about it
