I wish there was an “anti-rapture” where the worst were taken all at once to forever live in hell, leaving us poor miserable souls to be “left behind” to suffer a life of peace and decency toward humankind.

That’s absolutely one of the key reasons the US supports Israel. However, that doesn’t mean it can turn a blind eye to what Israel actually does.

The West, especially the United States, has the ability to exert a lot of influence on Israel and yet it seems that they’re not trying. Withholding military aid, among other things, goes a long way.

I really wonder what it is I’m missing when it comes to why they won’t exert pressure the way it seems they should.

I won’t pretend to understand the complexity of this horrific situation. I’m angry and fed up with Israel and the West’s relationship with Israel. “He’s a fucking liar,” Biden said privately of Netanyahu, after Israel went into Rafah, Woodward writes.

“Bibi, what the fuck?” Biden yelled at Netanyahu in July after an Israeli airstrike killed a top Hezbollah military commander and three civilians in Beirut, according to Woodward.

“You know the perception of Israel around the world increasingly is that you’re a rogue state, a rogue actor,” Biden said to Netanyahu.

If this is how Biden privately talks about the guy, I have to wonder what’s keeping him from being public about it. I understand this is politics, but I want to hope that there’s more to it because the United States and other Western nations sure as hell should not be complicit in the slaughter of Palestinians simply because of politics.

If this article is even moderately accurate, then this is hard to digest. I didn’t realize that Russian electronic warfare was so advanced and capable. It seems to be having a significant impact on Ukraine’s efforts and bodes very poorly for them. The article didn’t address how they can counter Russian EW capabilities, if at all. 😖

Honestly and genuinely, I’m glad to see all that she has put into this decision and glad the state is allowing it. Now she doesn’t need to cause further pain to others through a traumatic suicide and she can gain the peace she’s been longing for.

Each day, so many lives are snuffed out of existence without a second thought. She has given this an incredible amount of thought, time, and work.

P. S. There’s thousands of live today that want to live. They don’t want to die. And yet their lives are taken away in an instant. Perhaps we should focus on saving them rather than making someone like Zoraya feel even worse.

How exactly does the US transfer these weapons? Are weapons maintained by their military directly transferred to another country? Or perhaps defense contractors are permitted to provide the material directly, but paid for by the US? If government contractors are involved, I’d like to know which companies are supplying weapons.

Honestly, it took me a bit to realise which community I posted this in and I regretted it. I normally would not have posted it here. I try hard to never post us-centric stuff here or in similar communities. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Could it have worldwide implications, certainly. But not directly.
