From my phone browser via the webui:

When viewing while logged into Lemmy.ca, the second link (accessing the community from my instance) does NOT show any recent posts.

The first link takes me to the community at lemmy.world (not from my instance and logged out of Lemmy.world) and it shows all recent posts.

For this reason, I would say that it’s not synced. BUUUUTT…

If I go back to lemmy.ca, log out, log back in with my alt account… the two links you provided show all posts synced.

I think this is the kind of behavior that exists when you’ve been banned from a community 🤷🏽‍♂️, except I haven’t been banned.

Wait, you didn’t hear? Apparently no one has the power to stop them. Not a single nation. Not a single leader. Not a one with the power, influence, or strength.

That’s absolutely one of the key reasons the US supports Israel. However, that doesn’t mean it can turn a blind eye to what Israel actually does.

The West, especially the United States, has the ability to exert a lot of influence on Israel and yet it seems that they’re not trying. Withholding military aid, among other things, goes a long way.

I really wonder what it is I’m missing when it comes to why they won’t exert pressure the way it seems they should.

I won’t pretend to understand the complexity of this horrific situation. I’m angry and fed up with Israel and the West’s relationship with Israel. If this is how Biden privately talks about the guy, I have to wonder what’s keeping him from being public about it. I understand this is politics, but I want to hope that there’s more to it because the United States and other Western nations sure as hell should not be complicit in the slaughter of Palestinians simply because of politics.

If this article is even moderately accurate, then this is hard to digest. I didn’t realize that Russian electronic warfare was so advanced and capable. It seems to be having a significant impact on Ukraine’s efforts and bodes very poorly for them. The article didn’t address how they can counter Russian EW capabilities, if at all. 😖

Yet something else to disable in Windows. I’m losing track of each thing at this point.

She embarked on intensive treatments, including talking therapies, medication and more than 30 sessions of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). “In therapy, I learned a lot about myself and coping mechanisms, but it didn’t fix the main issues. At the beginning of treatment, you start out hopeful. I thought I’d get better. But the longer the treatment goes on, you start losing hope.”

After 10 years, there was “nothing left” in terms of treatment. "I’ve never hesitated about my decision. I have felt guilt – I have a partner, family, friends and I’m not blind to their pain. And I’ve felt scared. But I’m absolutely determined to go through with it.

Honestly and genuinely, I’m glad to see all that she has put into this decision and glad the state is allowing it. Now she doesn’t need to cause further pain to others through a traumatic suicide and she can gain the peace she’s been longing for.

Each day, so many lives are snuffed out of existence without a second thought. She has given this an incredible amount of thought, time, and work.

P. S. There’s thousands of live today that want to live. They don’t want to die. And yet their lives are taken away in an instant. Perhaps we should focus on saving them rather than making someone like Zoraya feel even worse.
