  • Tips I’ve learned that helped:

    • use detergent powder instead of pods. It let’s you experiment with different amounts and dial in the right amount for a run. Generic is fine, they all do about the same amount of work.
    • Run your faucet till hot water comes out, it makes it so the pre-rinse has more ability to soften crud on the surface of the dishes.
    • pre-rinsing the dishes isn’t necessary for cleanliness, but scraping food bits off will mean your debris filter fills up slower so you don’t have to do the gross task of emptying it as often.
    • add detergent in the dip on the door. This gives the pre-wash yet again more ability to attack food bits on the first cycle.
    • USE RINSE AID. I helps the dishes dry at the end of the wash.

    Not with our current technology I think. All the hype of ‘AI safety’ has been used as an advertisement for LLM companies, and they’ve been doing it AAAAALLL the way way back before Elon Musk even owned twitter and was hated.

    “Oh no, we better be careful or AI’s going to destroy the human race” literally at the same time that they’re pumping AI companies full of money. It’s all a scam to sell LLMs as more capable than they actually are, to crush smaller LLM competitors with regulation, and to force Governments to fund them like they’re the next atomic bomb. And it’s working on the majority of laymen.

  • The most common modifications cities are doing to roads that are easy to speed on is to add either:

    • sidewalk extensions, narrowing the road at the most crossed point;
    • speed bumps, as seen here;
    • and/or chicanes, which break up the straight and require a driver to be more active in their steering.

    All these techniques are effective at slowing cars down on straight roads.

    Not quite what’s being described here - the waiter’s done nothing and most likely would not be fast enough to prevent the situation from happening. It just happened.

    That being said, this would be a very fucked up reaction to a kid most likely dying if it were real life - however, ( missed the last part where the little shit’s fine) most of us understand this is just hyperbole for the sake of dark humor, and not to be taken seriously.

    Looked into it, could not find a peanut butter jar whose nutritional facts did not have sugar. Most common amount was 3g per serving.

    Serving size was 2 tablespoons, or 32 grams. That doesn’t actually sound that unreasonalsble for a pb&j to me.
