After enough pints, I have no memory of this place.

I am British, most people don’t need to even think about taxes here as its all automatic. Only really something you might need to look at if you are self employed or its your job to deal with it.
I would probably take a picture of it, but if for some reason I absolutely needed to print a copy (which I haven’t in over a decade) I would just go to the library to print it.
What is the point of that?
Can you not go from the toilet to the sink without your phone?
You guys have to print out tax forms?
Why would I get a laser printer? I don’t want a printer.
Yeah, wouldn’t want to get bacteria on your hands a few seconds before washing your hands.
The more I hear from big tech companies the more I want to reject it. I don’t even own a printer.
As a guy I can assure you this isn’t true.
Windows? Not heard of that distro before, sorry.
Starting to feel like you also have “lefties” that want progressive policies and don’t give a shit about the working class
Yep, got my Zimmer frame to help me in my 30s
Now add VMs and proxmox
We did have well over 100 tickets in the queue, now they split the support team into multiple sub support teams and each sub team has fewer tickets in their own queue. The total number is still massive but compartmentalising the problem makes most of it go away! I can filter it down to such a degree my queue is almost single figures by just ignoring everything else because that is someone elses problem.
Also my sub team doesn’t have anyone to cover 1st line on some products so I am covering 1st line there as well as 2nd line. Upside is my stats look brilliant now that I am doing all the password reset tickets.
I use both, depends a bit on the task at hand. Generally simple tasks GUI and complex ones CLI. Especially if I want anything automated.
Unpaid overtime = work is just not going to be done.
No mention of Dwarven metal yet?
Bing maps are better than google though. Kinda. Its one of those annoying things where each has a feature that the other doesn’t. Bing has ordnance survey map layers which are unquestionably the best maps that exist across the UK. But google can be useful for street view.
They will keep doing it as long as people keep buying it.
Having a lot of fun on games that cost a tiny fraction of that. I think Isonzo is the most expensive I bought in the past few years and its £40, got it in 2022.
