I don’t think they can actually have an ad blocker installed on your machine be a violation of their terms of service. It’s on your device. It’s like Ford would say driving one of their models with a green shirt is a violation of their terms of service. What’s next, your camera will be monitored by Google and you violate their terms of service if you turn your head away whenever an ad is playing? Well, yeah, they wanted to pause ads when your eyes would turn away from the screen, so they really are that evil.

Google was such a nice company at first, now it’s pure evil. Just like all the other mega corps. Open source and Piracy is the future.

People also want to see more after season 1 instead of cancelation and some new junk pushed in their face.

I’m claiming the problem is self-made and kept intact by most Americans and violence (in this case murder) isn’t the answer and you compare me to a racist. Instead of personally attacking me, you could have come with supported counter arguments but so far you only came with “people their feelings” and “you argue like a racist”. Have you ever thought of a political career?

First everyone votes for worse healthcare and more money and power to mega corps like healthcare companies and people like this murdered CEO, than kill this guy because of the corrupt healthcare system while antivax RFK will be health minister in a month. But yeah, murdering people is good news. Enjoy the fun.

As soon as a Healthcare system is put in place, people en masse voted to have it removed. Instead of voting for a stronger social system so poor and sick will have support instead of being thrown out on the streets and kept poor, people vote for a president ensuring the extremity rich get even more rich and the poor even more poor. I do feel for the people who are the victim of this all, and I know many didn’t vote for this. But also many did. It’s a country where people love to dig their own grave, and even vote to have their shovel taken away so they will have to continue to dig by hand. Although many didn’t want this, the entire population voted democratically (although the voting system is corrupt too) to keep the rich and the corruption in power. Now with RFK as a health minister, like that’s going in the right direction. To the unfortunate people who voted against but we’re the minority, I would love to invite you here in Europe. We do have social safety nets and although they aren’t perfect, at least they exist and you won’t be charged 20k for an ambulance drive you have to wait for, for 5 hours due to a lack of them. Here it’s 5 to max 10min and insured.

Then something else. Someone kills a CEO with a gun. The fact anyone can have military grade weapons is one of the reasons people get injured and killed, so they need insurance. It’s one of the biggest source of major issues, like school shootings for example. Now the CEO gets killed. Violence is never the answer, it only makes everything worse I nthe end. This CEO will be replaced by another one, with a better security detail. The fact that Americans always use violence is so extremity dumb and is why am extremity dangerous former fuck up will be president AGAIN next month. Because of hate and the idea violence is the answer. When you think murdering someone is justified, you’re no better then the asshole getting shot. There’s a justice system for a reason, you shouldn’t act as your own judge and executioner. (ok to be fair, the US justice system is corrupt AF).

So I so have sympathy for the the victims who didn’t vote for this. I do not for the people who did.

I am getting so annoyed a CEO being shot in the US creates this mono hyper focus on it, as if there’s nothing else in the world, while at the same time there’s a genocide happening (funded by the US by the way) among other major world issues and conflicts making the world tension roughly the same level as the 1930’s. But many Americans voted to increase support for Israel, so fuck them. There’s the usual doom scrolling on many social media platforms. But as soon as something happens in the US, the entire focus of everything and everyone is on it. I hate it, if I want to see it I’ll watch Idiocracy or something but I’m done with all the stupidity, hate and violence in that fucked up country.

It’s fine to have a news article and some funny memes, but hundreds of memes is a bit overkill I’d say. I’ve seen many memes about his clothes already, so even that isn’t original anymore. Lemmy really is a mono culture, it’s a bit sad rly. It mainly focuses on the stupidity of the US, which is funny, I know, but a bit more variety wouldn’t mind. It gets old rly fast.

I do know what they say because both my racist narcissistic aunt and mother say it to me in my face. They get angry at me for telling them what they say is racist / homophobe / transphobe / supports genocide (they are pro Israël), tell me I act like a child, don’t know anything about the world, have no respect, should keep my mouth shut, shouldn’t have come, should be ashamed of myself. “Next time behave and let us speak our opinions (meaning shut up and listen) or don’t come.” So now I have cut them completely off. They are angry about that too but I blocked them so it’s not my problem anymore. They are in their 70s so should die soon I hope. Makes this world just is little bit less horrible.

Here in The Netherlands the pre-made meals are getting worse and worse. Due to the price wars by the grocery stores (maaaaany stores per capita) the producers won’t get much money for their product, so they are cutting corners. It’s an inflation thing. Either things get more expensive, packaging gets smaller for the same price or they take out pricy ingredients. Over here canned soup isn’t cheap, it lacks nutrition and a 2 portion can isn’t enough to fill 1 person’s stomach.

I don’t even have a microwave. I understand the concept, however I prefer home made meals. I hate cooking, so I usually cook 3 or 4 nights in a row, cooking large meals which are 4 to 5 large portions. This way I have enough food in my freezer for 2 to 3 weeks, consisting of 3 to 4 different kinds of food so not every day the same. I always have something I can warm up when I’m ill or feel down. It’s basically the same as canned soup or instant meal, but home made so much tastier and healthier.

A bag of pre-cut veggies, pre-peeled potatoes, add some beans, bake 5min with some herbs and throw in a blender with some water. Throw the blended stuff in a pan, boil with some cream and add some pasta. Super tasty soup is ready in 10 to 12 min. Enough soup for 4 days. But I don’t mind cutting some veggies, they only need some rough cutting as they go into the blender anyway. Just use easy to cut veggies. Broccoli or cauliflower for example, or courgettes like I used yesterday. Soup for 4 to 5 days costs roughly 5 to 7 euros. Add a euro for home made bread made with a bread baking machine and you have a proper meal. Just throw some baking mix and water in it and 3h later you have fresh warm bread. Honestly, making your own soup in 12min for 4 days is roughly 6min more effort then canned soup. No added sugar, conservatives and too much salt. Much better taste. Especially when you add some blue cheese.

Ah. I don’t eat meat. I think that’s why my soups are so cheap to make. I mostly use beans to replace meat and beans are really cheap.

Who eats canned soup in the first place. Fresh ingredients is cheaper, healthier and tastier.
