This is just a bad meme. I get it. But a terrible meme.
JetBrains Mono to the top!
MashedTech@lemmy.worldto linuxmemes@lemmy.world•Every time I see a headline like "Windows introduces thing, nobody asked for it but it's coming to all versions and can't be uninstalled"21·5 months agoI use podman like a normal human.
Thank you for your informed opinion.
Ubuntu is ok. That’s it. Let them get on with their life. An OS is a tool that shouldn’t get in the way of the user of trying to achieve a goal. If Ubuntu works for them, Ubuntu is good. Linux has to be a solution, a way to a goal not the actual goal.
One day I will see this drama… Until then, it will remain only in memes.

MashedTech@lemmy.worldOPto Programmer Humor@programming.dev•I redid the meme with what hurts me9·10 months agoOf course! Why didn’t I think about that? Maybe I could also switch some other parts of the code to Lisp?
MashedTech@lemmy.worldOPto Programmer Humor@lemmy.ml•I redid the meme with what hurts me231·10 months agoOf course… But the idea is that it is misleading… And there’s more traps the beginners falls into. I have a feeling if beginners begin with C++, or other language that is strongly typed and requires memory management and then do some other language that is more abstract like python; they will become better programmers compared to them doing it in reverse.
I remixed the meme: https://lemmy.world/post/19849935
Sure, python is easy. But have you tried package management in python versus other languages?
What the fuck.
Is that Jambo?
