  • rofl! The difference vetween a progressive and liberal is NOT just when they decide to intervene in corporations…

American liberals want to means test EVERYTHING that could concievably go to a poor person. A progressive realizes the red tape is fucking stupid and expensive in its own right. Remember the COVID funds? Sucked up by megacorporations more than small businesses like it was supposed to be for? Notice how American liberals didn’t go after those corporations or really care that the money instantly dried up for smaller fries?

Yea, American liberals are ABSOLUTELY closer to American conservatives in practicality. It doesn’t matter how many polite words they use if the end result is FUNCTIONALLY THE SAME. No, conservatives wouldn’t have given any money to poor people, but as already said, liberals didn’t care that corporations with lawyers that could push all the red tape got the money, not small businessesthat actually neededrhe help.

They BOTH serve to drain the government of public funds. You’ve just fallen for the pleasantries they put on the same negative slant of actions. No, liberals are not fascists themselves, but they’re always, always dumb enough to make things suck enough that fascists sound nice to fools.

  • IMO, the most important parts are to document the actual intent of the code. The contract of what is being documented. Sure, it’s only so useful in perfectly written code, but NO code is perfect, and few will come through later with full context already learned.

It makes it sooo mich easier to know what is intended behavior and what is an unchecked edge case or an unexpected problem. If it’s a complicated thing with a lot of fallout, good documentation can save hours of manually lining up consequences and checking through them for sanity.

You might say, “but that’s indication of bad code!”. No. Not really. Consequences easily extend past immediate code doing things as trivial as saving data to the database without filtering, or having a publicly available service. Even perfectly coded things come up with vulnerabilities all the time due to underlying security issues. It’s always great to have an immediate confirmation of what’s supposed to happen whether it’s immediate code or some library with a new quirk in a new version.

I felt that about many joints when I slacked off on working out for a few months in my 20s. I was still lifting enough to keep my muscles from too much atrophy, but my joints got… lazy? Dynamic motion and heavier weights suddenly felt (as suddenly as me taking exercise more serious again) like my joints were the limiting factor.

and then I overworked my arms and got something like tennis elbow and basically had to rehab myself back to being able to exercise, all without my muscles being the limiting factor!

Take care of your body, folks. You can go over 100% when you’re young, but your body makes you pay when you’re older!

Reminds me of the stories of the people who do crazy stuff on adrenalin rushes, like lift a car off their dying child, and then end up potentially hospitalized or otherwise extremely sore for months. I think I get it now…

If they’ve lived SEVENTY YEARS and haven’t come to realize that black people and lgbtq+ people are JUST normal people trying to live a moderately different life…

Then yes, yes they are maliciously stupid. Ignorance eventually becomes a choice after so many oportunities have been passed up.

Number one is because they’ve patented the trackpad sol noone else can use the newer style. Number 6 is madecompletely moot by the high price and the fact that many other vendors have laptops with BETTER build quality. Especially if you factor in all the engineering missteps they seem to constantly make.

Doubt me? Just look up Luis Rossman teardown videos. He’ll show you actual macs from customers, that he takes appart onscreen, and shows you exactly how Apple makes extremely basic engineering mistakes.

Don’t like him? Look up anyone else that gets under the hood of Apple products without being in Apple’s cultish parts program.

I mean, I’m absolutely positive the list on the left are much harder targets to strike. The Olympics in a major city in a country that’s already used to dealing with ISIS-like terrorists is going to go over worse than a lead balloon, America is far away and overpoliced as is, and Israel already loves shooting Muslims for no reason…

Taylor Swift is the obvious choice.

  • bahahahahaaaaaaahaha keep drinking the koolaid, little one. It really makes you appear intelligent…

No, they’re not LITERALLY the same thing, but if you cannot understand how capitalism is quite literally institutionalized greed, you are simply stupid. Pure and simple.

  • even the $20 ones online work for getting your ass wet. Heck, if you don’t have enough fiber in your diet like me, the cheap ones that spray harder are better!

Only takes a couple weeks to get used to cold water, too. There is A LOT of heat in an asshole, so it’s more refreshing than chilly after you’re used to it.
