I really doubt it. Cops barely have to prove shit when they’re arresting someone for weed. In something this high profile and important for the establishment I doubt there will be much proof at all.

If my job had work for me to do right now I guarantee I would have been back today. I have two weeks off because of Christmas and New Year’s falling on Wednesday, which means for the company we have a contract with, their employees were about to use only six days of PTO to get two paid weeks off. Most people took the opportunity. I don’t get PTO. My poor wife had to go back today and I know she hates me right now.
I can’t complain. I am getting paid for doing some bullshit easy online training done. The classes are actually fairly complex networking stuff, but I can pass the tests much faster than reading and watching everything. I just give it a skim and hit the tests.
Which reminds me I need to bang out a couple classes before midnight!

My neighbors diagonally across from me feed deer in their back yard. I have a not great photo from a week or two ago, when there were 14 deer in the yard. I think I got 12 in the photo. The bucks usually stay up in the treeline guarding, but this year we have two bucks, probably a couple of two year old brothers, that behave like the fawns and doe. One was 4 point the other was 6 point last time I saw them. They aren’t in the photo.

Not really. I buy them when they’re $1 or less, in season. I’ve never even made avocado toast for real. I cut them in half, score them, then squeeze lime juice on plus salt or Tajin. Scoop them with a spoon. So delicious.

Sorry to be such a downer. I forget there are high school kids on Lemmy. For what it’s worth I’m sorry about climate change, but that’s largely the fault of my elders and the corporations that control the government.
