Manga Plus is the official App where Shonnen Jump digitally publishes its manga, from there manga like Chainsaw Man, Spy X Family and Dandadan, among others, became famous.
The comments are not so much complaints as (very) recurrent jokes, but in my land they say that “between jokes, the truth comes out”. That said, complaining about the lack of content in a weekly manga of no more than 24 pages per chapter is like complaining that a non marvel or DC movie has no post-credits scene, sequels or prequels. And if it bothers them so much to wait one to two weeks for a chapter they feel is “short”, they can always wait for the compilation volumes to be published and read the whole thing in one sitting.
Lol I thought they were random words, but no.
I partially disagreed in the first and strongly disagreed in the second.
The first can be resolved with education.
The second…
The funny thing is that both points are related in a horrid way:
Let’s say there is a despot who has a doctorate, it doesn’t matter what it is, it could be in quantum physics, which has nothing to do with politics, but it is enough to say that the guy is smart. The despot proposes something based on what you say: that those who are not “properly prepared intellectually” can not vote, this translates into those who do not have a university degree can not vote, as 40% of the population at best. Then this becomes that you have to have a Master’s degree to vote, then a doctorate, then only if you have a doctorate in a specific field, and so on…
On the one hand, we should not limit the exercise of democracy of the population, on the contrary. The population does not know how to read? Teach them, they don’t know arithmetic? Teach them. The vast majority do not have a university degree? Make university access more accessible, in an intelligent transforming way.
On the other hand, don’t give unlimited power to ANYONE. There is no individual being capable of providing a whole society with what it needs, because this individual will act according to his limited vision of the world and this will lead to the misfortune of the groups that escape his worldview. And that is only assuming that the despot really wants to “do what is best for all”, which is not at all the case in reality. The despots from the beginning choose a side (“Us”, the Aryans, etc) and an enemy (“Them”, the Jews, the blacks, the Latinos, the non-Aryan whites, etc), and openly act to harm “them” and only benefit “us”. And this is how genocides and so on happen…
Democracy is always good except if what is put to a vote is whether human beings deserve rights or not. Human rights are unappealable, period.
Authoritarianism, on the other hand, is never good, and anyone who says otherwise is a bootlicker, a privileged class or an authoritarian leader.

So you want me to take a Shower all naked in the rain?
Yeah, but that eliminates the joy of saying “hu-huh, this code is shit, but it’s MY shit” before lighting up a second joint.
I really don’t know why my Chinese bosses use WeChat, with the bad reputation it has in the West. I deduce three possibilities:

have no idea what’s wrong in this picture. Software using some disk and memory? Oh noes.
Nononono, Software using ALL disk and TOO MUCH memory. This is as if it takes all the energy and resources of your entire body to move one hand, so the rest of your body goes into a coma, you become blind, deaf, mute, your heart races and you can’t think straight until your hand stops moving.
I think it is an old HDD. In my office new equipment is not abundant, only the design department, to which I belong and which is not so big, has this kind of problems.
Gotta admit it’s a really big file, like half a gigabyte. Although a moth ago this wasn’t a big problem.
Currently Inkscape seems to me to be a good alternative, with each update the thing only gets better, contrary to Adobe…
Pipepipe is great! Works really good so far.

The effect is so well made, is mesmerizing.
Like, yeah. When you have everything working as it should, Linux runs smoothly and there are no more complications. But it’s a real pain in the ass that initial configuration, especially for newbies like me a couple of years ago.
This design is intencional… and diabolical.
In a presentation the professor asked me a question that, thinking about it today, I answered incorrectly, but I did it with such conviction, even after the professor questioned me again, that in the end he left me alone, gave me a good grade and even some classmates asked me advice.
Moral of the story: confidence is stronger than the truth. If you see someone very confident in what they say, it doesn’t necessarily mean they are telling The Truth.
