Tech is short-hand for technology.
So, technology companies and technology workers.

We have big red magnets representing blocked to put on the board. We have to speak about every single blocker every stand up and what the team’s path forward is to unblock the thing. If it’s waiting for vendor, then that’s all we can do. If the ball is in our court for any blockers, and its still there tomorrow without a really good reason, there is hell to pay.
When I say “It’s on my radar”, it means “yes, I am going to do this, but wait your turn”.
There is also “As discussed” meaning “We spoke about this already, but I need this as proof”
I am not medical at all, so don’t take me as any kind of expert. But it would have been Pfizer - the first shot 40-somethings in Australia received. Is that one even mRNA based?
There is genuinely a small percentage of the population who is severely allergic to the vaccine. It happened to someone I know. She didn’t die of course - but yeah, was in hospital for a while and couldn’t take the subsequent shots after that first one. It was pretty rough.
Happily, the vaccines were administered in the presence of health professionals with a proper plan in-place especially to deal with these cases. They’re aren’t jabbing people with cow medicine they bought off the black market in their own back yards.
The problems with hydrogen have never been with using it as a fuel source. The first problem is storage/transport of the fuel and the second is what happens to a vehicle with a hydrogen fuel tank when it’s ruptured in an accident?
I can see a train making sense - a lot more space for storage and cooling, plus the risk of an accident is very low. But I haven’t seen anything about these issues being addressed in motor vehicles.
There was a time where getting the products off the shelves was the job of a clerk at the desk. You’d walk into the store, give the clerk your list and they’d get all the things and put them into a bag for you.
Policies and practices evolve.
The technology exists. It isn’t that difficult to implement facial tracking on security cameras and maintain a file on shoplifters. Even across multiple stores.
I can’t answer your question, but it is certainly plausible.
Ooh! I was going to say that I haven’t watched any of these shows, nor even heard of half of them. But, I’ve probably got common ground with you if you give me a similar list of books/series.
Have just finished the Mortal Instruments series, which apparently was turned into a TV show called “Shadow Hunters”. No idea if it was any good, though.
I haven’t used Opera in a long time, but I used it heavily 20 years ago. Back then you had to pay for it or there was a big ad banner on the toolbar.
It certainly wasn’t always Chromium based, Chrome didn’t come along until 2009 or something. Not sure when that change happened.
If I had to go back to that job I was doing (Internet Help desk) again, I’d consider Opera again. It was fast at navigating an intranet site where all the images were cached locally, but the killer feature for me was the back/forward. If you went back, all the stuff you typed in the form was still there. So you could resubmit it if the session had timed out or there was an issue.
I still use mouse gestures (an Opera thing) via extensions with whatever browser I have used since.
You might be surprised. Half of us were either born overseas or had at least one parent born overseas. A little under a third of us have English as our second language. That doesn’t mean that two thirds of us only speak English - only that English is our ‘home’ language.
I know there’s a lot of multiculuralism in the USA also, but I don’t know whether those percentages compare.

Prometheus. Stole fire and gave it to humanity. Then in return was tied down and had to go through the same torture day after day for 30,000 years.
There is nothing that I want to watch badly enough that I would put up with this behavior.
