What do you use?
Either an IDE like Visual Studio or Xcode or a text editor like Notepad++, Vim or nano, it depends. I also use Android Studio but I hate it.
“If you were able to overlook a genocide and cast a vote for Harris, you already know how a conservative was able to overlook Trump’s extremism and vote for him.” – Historian Robin D.G. Kelley

Two things can be right at the same time. I remember when I used to run VS6, IE and WinAmp in 128MB with KBs to spare. Even today, proper VS is a much better product than VSCode while being a full fledged IDE and not just a glorified text editor.
should have at least had the decency to send them to the trash instead of outright deleting, this is just good and sane design
So VS Code isn’t just slow and bloated, it also deletes your files. So glad I was turned off by its excessive memory consumption and deleted it before it deleted my files.
Edit: also why I only ever used git from the command line, I never found a git UI that is easy to understand, and never trusted them.
Never used it and never will, but maybe we can make Twitch become a slur?
Reminds me of this ad https://youtu.be/DIABO7_BTVc
Since you asked I had to download it and give it a try. I liked how the installation was simple, just one command, no need to download an installer and follow a wizard. I personally prefer Linux but I’m on Windows now for reasons. Overall it feels familiar but different, I still need more time with it, but I do like the Zen Sidebar feature already.
TIL, it is Gecko-based but more than just another Firefox clone.
Consider this: climate change is being accelerated at a time when we are overdue to reduce it and what we are getting out of it is plagiarism and wrong answers.
Plenty of alternative to Chromium already exist, not all good.
A self inflicted wound. Could it be terminal?
A lot of us predicted this outcome. I did but I didn’t expect to see it unfold so fast. In my mind I thought it would take China 10 years, but it has taken them much much less. It turns out the “indispensable nation” is quite dispensable.
I think the core of the problem is that the US economic and political establishment “got high on their own supply”. They believed their own propaganda. They think very highly of themselves and very lowly of everyone else. One day, perhaps soon, they will realize that American Exceptionalism is a myth and no way to conduct international relations.

Insult upon injury
This is left as an exercise for the reader.
Israel is the most fascist state in existence. Israel is The Fifth Reich.
To most Liberals Palestinians are just not humans and therefore there is no problem of human rights violation.
Ignoring the genocide in Gaza are we? Do liberals realize how insulting this is?
Wow, some industry lobbyists got government funding, amazing.
Not just in the US, China too is building nuclear reactors faster than any other country
Global fossil fuel subsidies are at $7 trillion, so I guess those are really relevant to our future as well!
No of course not. The subsidies at this point at a crime against humanity.
I don’t want developing countries to waste their money on nuclear power when they can get much more cost effective renewables.
If the renewables are cost effective and provide stable power then I too want them to be priority -near zero risks-, but more importantly industry and business will seek them on their own. I just hold that nuclear power should be part of the mix. Take the UAE for example it is investing in both nuclear and solar.
The US wanted to rid itself of as much English influence as possible, she even changed the spelling. Odd that she held on to Imperial.
