Car enthusiasts are much more welcoming and helpful than computer experts. Just look at stack exchange.
You can usually find step by step instructions for fixing most cars. My library has a subscription to Chilton online, so I can use it from home and look at repair procedures and wiring diagrams. Just use forums and YouTube to fill in the gaps. I’ve even diagnosed a car from Amazon reviews since I suspected a certain part was bad and looked at reviews that said the exact symptoms.
They think the blue indicator means their headlights are on.
Thanks for making Lemmy!
There actually were quite a few issues in 2016 that legitimately could have caused him to win.
The prime minister has an axe to grind with Palestine because his own brother was killed in an operation ~50 years ago. He’s stated many times that he has no intention of any kind of peace and he’s only using a tragedy to take revenge. It’s no different than the u.s. going into Afghanistan after 9/11 and then using that as a foothold when they invaded Iraq under dubious circumstances. It’s completely indefensible.
Speculation. Some investors are more interested in holding the property until they can sell it in the future for a profit, rather than the rent they would earn now. Some landlords will have negative cashflow even if they are charging rent because they know they can sell the property for a profit later.
I’ve read that some won’t work that way and some do and I really don’t want to research tvs at the moment.
We have a 55" led TV from about 10 years ago. We bought it at a physical sears store. I replaced the power supply board maybe 5-6 years ago? Because the backlight stopped working. The current problem with it is that if it has been on in the past few hours she you try to turn it on again it takes 15-20 minutes to finally turn on. No amount of power cycling or fiddling fixes it, you just have to press the power button and wait. If you turn it on after it has been off all night, then it starts up fine. I really don’t want to buy a new TV right now and I don’t really want a smart TV anyway.
Still works on eBay for now, the one thing they haven’t broken.
Disagreement with Israel doesn’t make one an “antisemite.” I think Israel needs to read “the boy who cried wolf.”
TBH, I don’t see what’s do great about Israel anyway. It just looks like a hot desert area with rocks everywhere.
Land shouldn’t be owned indefinitely and passed through families. It’s not right to have created a dynasty based on one guy in the 1800s claiming everything in sight and having his idiot descendents be wealthy simply based on the fact. They didn’t do anything except inherent land.
Land that isn’t your primary home should have to be leased and not owned, that way it’s being used most effectively and not privatized for the sole benefit of the owner. It leads to land speculation and squatting of land that someone else would like to use.
Additionally, natural resources should also belong to the people and companies should have to pay fair compensation for their extraction.
