They might be referring to endogamy
I can be controversial or annoying because I always require proof and facts for whatever people are saying/claiming. This has gotten me into a lot of heated debates, even got myself banned from “YouShouldKnow” for saying I need more proof of Israeli’s genocide (that was long ago, got more proof and changed my mind). If I do not agree on some subjectively obvious topic, please do not assume I’m being unfriendly, evil or a troll. I do try my best to approach any subject with neutral and open mind. Just call me autistic with OCD

Yeah, I strongly disagree. It’s a genuinely valid way to figure out someone better. While the tests and all that aren’t really standardized, the idea is quite clear, and the idea works. Just because it was made mainstream, does not mean it’s suddenly bad. Just because the origins are sketchy, does not mean the theory is invalid. It just essentially means one’s ability to objectively assess your own and other’s emotions, feel empathy (not just understand it, but feel it), low emotional intelligence people would be less rational about their own and everyone’s else’s emotions. You simply cannot argue against this. It’s a skill/mechanism that makes society function better.
I genuinely don’t understand your argument. Are you saying it’s not a valid measurement system because humans came up with it? Just like everything else? What is your actual argument against emotional Intelligence as a metric besides that it was created by someone you don’t like?
Nobody was talking about ‘emotional intelligence’ 5 years ago in popular culture. Now it’s ubiquitous.
This is so incredibly false. Just look at the google trends. In 2004 it’s popularity was similar to that of 5 years ago, and even back in my teenager years I constantly heard it around and was part of studies.
I don’t understand what does actual buzzwords have to do with measurement system. They pretty much never go away just like IQ.

Everything can be a buzzword if it doesn’t directly apply to a selfish person with low EQ

The fact that we call property owners “landlords”
I thought I was cool

Step 1: Go to a richer country for work
Step 2: Sell everything you don’t need, take a loan
Step 3: Use the money to buy out rentable private property (preferablly from government to get rid of cheap housing, aka. anti-socialism)
Step 4: Push for highest possible rent someone is ready to pay
Step 5: Repeat till satisfied
Step 6: Lay back and watch the news in peace about how there’s property crisis, rent is skyrocketing and how 1/3 of the workforce isn’t doing anything. Then talk about how much capitalism sucks.
I know many people who do this. Seems to work.
It actually slipped my mind how painful the chaos machine was. My subconsciousness decided to hide it to heal the PTSD
His reason for banning people is transphobia, hate, bigotry, etc. but since I live next to Russia, I’m used to reading “titles” in the opposite direction (says X, means Y), but I have genuinely no clue what’s going on here

Do you feel like everyone around you is speaking in ChatGPT?
EDIT: Just in case so people don’t think I’m mocking OP - I was mimicking ChatGPT/making fun of it
