Cringe is just embarrassment leaving the body.
Ah so everything was chill in the USSR then? Stalin didn’t have any secret police or totalitarian access to power?
When you ignore established agricultural science because it’s too capitalist, and your crops fail, starving a significant portion of your country, yeah that’s kinda the governments fault.
“90’s kids” always stuck me as a cultural thing more than being tied to a specific decade. Like if you were alive while Nickelodeon Studios was colorful and fun, then you’re a 90’s kid.

243·2 months agoIdk if it’s just me, but it’s insane to bring up Uhygur genocide, which has not been in the news or mentioned at all for years, while we watch US funded Israel blowing up starving children on a daily basis.

The scale and frequency is unique to the US.
And it’s wild because the proof is in the wiki article you linked. Since 2000 there have been a total of 85 school shootings in all of Europe. The US (A single country) has had 630.
The problem is obviously significantly worse in the US.

They’ve been reclaiming land from the sea for centuries. That’s what all the dykes and windmills are for.
Dirty bidet water? Are you sure that thing’s hooked up right? /s
What I don’t get is, so much of what is online is designed to make you angry and scared because that captures the most engagement. Are people just comfortable feeling that way? It seems way more stressful than living a mostly offline life and enjoying conversations with real people. I don’t understand why people do it to themselves.

That’s a pretty badass thing to say to someone trying to rob your house.
More like Palantirs shadow war on everyone.
Bigger in everyway! Bigger crime, bigger gun problem, bigger capture by oil companies, bigger environmental damage, bigger racism, bigger highways… The list goes on!

“The phenomenon revealed difference in human color perception…”
Yes, you’re becoming a part of the joke. People LITERALLY see the dress differently. It doesn’t matter what the objective facts are. TBH, it says a lot about humanity. Even when we have evidence that subjective experiences can vary, and even contradict each other, we still end up arguing over whose viewpoint is “correct”.

Call off the war, boys. China’s clearly won.
