Agreed. When I was growing up we were getting towards the end of the cold war and Republican’s stance was “better dead than red”. Now look at them, getting all cozy with a communist dictator who cares more about giving the illusion of strength over the welfare of his own people. This reflects the position of all the modern Republicans as well, who are nothing more than performance artists bent on destroying education, health care, and anything else that benefits the public, as long as their wealthiest contributors are happy. What ever happened to stepping in and helping those who couldn’t help themselves?

If Trump gets reelected it’ll be time to start adding riders to all his bills. A new bill to allow discrimination against some group? Fine, add a rider that White people cannot participate. A major tax break for billionaires? Cool, but it can’t apply to white people. A reform to create millions of new jobs? Sure but the positions can only be filled by POC. Stop his bigotry at every turn by simply preventing white people from enjoying the benefits and see how far he gets. Sure these actions will probably be called out as racism, but then you can ask why he is only trying to pass laws that benefit people of a single color.

I feel like this isn’t the case, since some senators like Bernie Sanders are also very vocal about fighting for the rights of the common people and yet these same people are against him. Of course the difference is that Sanders doesn’t make a circus-act out of his fights so he doesn’t get shown on the nightly news.

I’m just astounded by poll results like this. I mean, Trump already had four years and what exactly did he do for you? Oh that’s right, absolutely nothing because he was too busy making changes that benefited his personal businesses or stripping federal regulations for personal rights and things like our national parks. I just don’t understand why these people believe Trump is going to help them now when he only made everything worse in his first term?

Well SOME of us are prepared, since we had parents who actually cared about our lives rather than virtue-signalling to their Facebook groups.

Honestly, show me a young president who also wouldn’t make occasional mistakes. Biden makes mistakes but Trump is full-on delusional.

As opposed to organizations like OECD who specialize in keeping an eye on world economies and put Russia in one of the worst slumps in the world…

It’s all about propaganda and trying to create the illusion of evidence to gain international support. We have pretty much reached the point where “Israel claims…” has as much weight as “Russian says…” keeping in mind that Russia has also killed their own people and tried to blame it on the enemy.

I would suggest that anything from reason.com belongs on The Onion, but that would be a serious insult to The Onion. Surely OP doesn’t take anything from that site seriously, or think it’s based on factual information?

I don’t think that word means what you think it means… Just a heads up, Russia, it’s not called “retaliation” when you’re the assholes who struck first. You’re just being a whiny little bitch because Ukraine didn’t roll over and take your bullying.

It’s not impossible, it just requires incentive. I’ve dropped 30 pounds this year by eating better (and much less) despite having a basket full of Hostess products sitting on the shelf and 2 liter bottles of sodas in the fridge. We just need to WANT to stop pigging out at every meal. For me, it was my cholesterol going through the roof of the skyscraper at my check-up this year (I was over 800! I think 150 is supposed to be the highest you go without being in danger) and generally being uncomfortable after every meal. Groceries get a lot cheaper when you’re only eating half as much, and allows me to afford buying better quality foods.

Makes sense, Kim does seem to have a stick up his butt about pretending like he’s anything more than a joke on the world stage.

For a country that can barely even provide electricity to residents outside of its capitol city, I’m still trying to wrap my head around how they managed to get anything into orbit. Of course I’m expecting that the first micro-meteor which incapacitates the craft will be declared as an act of war by whoever the little pest is mad at that particular week.
