  • It’s about 9k a day. That’s just all deaths. Medically treatable and avoidable deaths is 624 a day. According to the only numbers I can find, but it’s wonky, so I’ll grant you it may not be precise, but it’s probably a good ballpark number.

Even if it’s one person a day that dies without necessity of a preventable and treatable cause that universal healthcare would have fixed, that’s a lot of deaths. And it’s more than one CEO who likely thought very seriously about the question ‘‘is curing anyone a good business model?’’

TRUMP runs on ethnic clensing, claims he won’t project 2025, wins, immediately puts authors of 2025 in every key position. Convicted of over 30 felonies, convicted rapist, says ‘‘there will be some hardship’’ while selling is economic strategies that will destroy US economy, wants to stop billions a day in trade from Mexico. Refuses to appoint anyone that can pass a background check. Decides he doesn’t need to even PRETEND hell be lawful and ethical, caught on hot mic taking about disarming citizens. .

    • soft to no press coverage . Biden pardons his son. .
    • entire newscycle every day dedicated to the ABSOLUTE OUTRAGE this grievous crime is. Now the Presidential office is forever tainted… . It’s hard to even grasp how deeply loyal to Trump these institutions are.

  • Worked in pricing for a big retailer, it 100% works and retailers don’t even like doing it, but it’s basically a necessity to get baseline sales. It’s WAY easier to have simple even number prices that calculate easily and get percent off sales and clearance prices that make sense. Really the only items you see it on are items competing with other retailers, so kraft mayo that every store has vs. A store brand soda you don’t care about volume on. The Mayo you better have $5.99 instead of $6.00 or it looks like you’re ripping them off. And even if they sell it got $4.99 it still keeps people thinking it’s a complex price difference rather than an even number they can compare more easily.
