More like an oligarch class makes a fertile ground for hate. They weaken the people and institutions that look to build people up, while grow those that siphon away opportunity, the earnings of the middle class, and finally hope.

They decorate this denuded landscape with their own twisted vision and the desperate don’t see a choice, by design.
