Just a hunch, but probably a stud right in the middle and they either didn’t want to deal with it, or didn’t know how to move it. Makes sense if it’s someone watching a video and doing it themselves to save money.
Hi I’m Tim.
I’m AuDHD - officially diagnosed ADHD and self-diagnosed (for now) with ASD. I also suffer from a great deal of Imposter Syndrome.
Just a hunch, but probably a stud right in the middle and they either didn’t want to deal with it, or didn’t know how to move it. Makes sense if it’s someone watching a video and doing it themselves to save money.
And bad actors will use that feeling (for those that have it) against them, and to call out reporting like this as a conspiracy (that will of course ironically be broadcast through the Rights media network by the very people that have been spreading the real conspiracies from the start).
Except for the narcissist that honestly believes they are crushing it, because to believe otherwise would shatter their whole world/existence.
Replying with a bunch of debunked Russian propaganda to dismiss Russian interest in steering US policy seems like putting your head in the sand. You are so far down the rabbit hole of misinformation that I hope you are able to make it back to reality at some point down the road.
And good luck in the future, I’m done with this thread as I’m not going down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories and misinformation.
Funny enough, I just watched a video about this topic last night.

I’m not following your logic here. Not voting, or actually voting for Trump both work in his favor because his base is going to vote for him no matter what. You would only be hurting the side that wants us to continue to have future elections. But at the end of the day if you can look in the mirror and be ok with selling out democracy more power to ya.
It had votes/support from both sides. And giving away democracy because you’re upset about a social media site seems like a bad take. Imagine telling future generations you traded the country’s democracy because you were mad at them because they took away your short video sites.
Which is the same as a vote for a dictator. And that is super cool if you are looking forward to Project 2025, and selling out loved ones so they can be put in camps as political prisoners.
Who votes for the dictator because of losing TikTok?

This article from back in October of '23 does not state that at all, and I never read her take the position of “Israel has the right to defend themselves”, but rather the opposite.
Earlier, she called the events of the weekend “devastating for all those seeking a lasting peace and respect for human rights in Israel and Palestine” and said, “I condemn Hamas’ attack in the strongest possible terms.”
But she also called for an “immediate ceasefire and de-escalation".™
AOC has been calling for a cease fire and more aid since last year. She might not have used the word genocide until now, but it’s not like she has been cool with things up till now either.
Nestle doing something shady on the down low?! I’m shocked! Shocked!! I tell you!!
He already has plans for it, and using the military to do it. He has made it clear he plans to go full fascist right from day one if he were to win again. It’s his only way to not spend the rest of his life in prison (and he loves the idea of being a dictator).
This could be a long shot, but since your instance is running on a .zip TLD it could be blocked at a webserver level (the whole .zip TLD not your instance specifically) like a lot of admins did when they were launched.
I think when you are watching your people (civilians - NOT those who enlisted to be part of this) being killed by the hundreds basically every day, I think even if you said “death to the infidels” you deserve a pass. I can’t imagine losing 3 generations in a day, and have it seen by everyone as acceptable collateral damage to maybe take out the enemy.
It’s not really a bug though, as it is working as intended. You may not like that implementation, so you would want to see an enhancement to the code.
You will be able to do this with 0.19.0 release.
Users can block instances
Users can now block instances, so that their communities are hidden from listings. This is done via POST /api/v3/site/block with parameters int instance_id, bool block.
I agree with those that say if you cannot live with the filter you should pick a new instance. Part of this whole experiment is that each admin is going to go with defaults they are comfortable with, and as a user you need to be respectful of those, or move on.
I do you agree with you that REDACTED works better in this case than “removed”, as I always see “removed” as a user action for whatever reason. Even the use of something like FILTERED would immediately alert the user and others that the original word(s) was/were removed and a basic understanding of why (it triggered the slur filter somehow).
I guess I would also go and change the “slur” filter language to just language filter, as not everyone is going to agree on everything an admin may want to filter being a “slur”, it could be any taboo word in that admins location.
They are on Codeberg, but it’s only as a github mirror.
