The US government provides weapons for the genocide.
One of the main campuses in the protests is opening a campus in Israel, which students are opposing until Israel ends genocide and apartheid.
Many of the campuses donate money to or have partnerships with candidates and organizations that are also complicit in the genocide.
Of course Israel isn’t going to stop genocide because a bunch of college students in the US don’t like it. But that doesn’t mean students have to sit idly as their tuition dollars go to fund genocide.

Picked my area and 29K puts you in the middle class, which is like $13/hr, and its pretty close to the national average for COL.
Based on which definition?
I feel like by most commonly used definitions I would be. About half my income (before taxes) goes into savings, my position is considered management, I make between 75%-200% of median national income, I have a graduate degree.
I don’t make half that rate though.
Not sure I think middle class is a useful method of classification though, but still curious why that specific number.
DST means you also have things like CST vs CET and given some places start DST earlier or later than others and some ignore it all together, we probably have at least 50 time zones.
Always fun trying to schedule international regular meetings when suddenly there’s a week when half the people’s times changed and the other half’s times haven’t yet, so you try to figure out which time would exclude the fewest essential people.
I only program non-seriously for work on occasions and I’ve rarely used copy/pasted code. Except maybe some of my own code because of using lazy logic trees to deal with variation in the data being processed. Doesn’t need to be pretty or efficient. Just needs to work well enough so I do a less manual work.
Kilo comes from greek and has meant 1000 for 1000’s of years. If you want 2^10 to be represented using greek prefixes, it better involve “deca” and “di”. Kilo (and di) would be usable for roughly 1.071508607186267 x 10^301 byte. KB was wrong when it was invented, but they were only wrong for decades at least.
At least online, it seems like the only Americans who call themselves far left agree those are all centrist positions. It’s only “centrists/progressives*” (moderately far right Americans) and other flavors of far right who still often dont generally call themselves far right (trump enthusiasts, alex jones types, proud boy types) who label basic things like universal health care a far left idea or just call it impractical atm.
*I feel like 10 years ago, people who were at least moderately left were the main people using this term, but in the last few years, people right of center have been using the label to try limit progress by pretending they’re just trying to be practical/realists about what can actually be done.
Just checking an art degree guide: https://catalog.mit.edu/degree-charts/architecture-course-4-b/
One of the classes that can be chosen is: 6.4400 Computer Graphics, which has a programming 101a/b class as a prereq (granted, it uses python instead of C++, but pretty sure they used C++ as their language-of-choice for the programming 101 language until recently).
Given the variety of digital art (video games, VTube avatars/VR avatars, more traditional-style digital art, etc), having the tools to make those kinds of things can be useful for making responsive/interactive digital art.
You could do more than hope. A start could be just making lists, categorizing common communities. At least with that, someone could just go through and block or sub to all the coms within a category. No specialized knowledge needed.
I figure there’s enough differences that they want to scare protentional devs from making the changes needed for it to work on Switch 2. They knew that getting rid of an existing open source emulator wasn’t really possible, but is a new one is not made, then its not just a matter of sharing copies.
But given that consoles are becoming more and more PC-like, I wonder how hard it will be to make an emulator anyways.
Both of my roommates own a switch and I’m welcome to use them. If I’m gonna play, I’ll just use those. Still, I’m people.
Which, ironically, is fucking exactly what the trump people do lol
Are you saying Trump supporters and Biden supporters are equal! /s
I’ve seen lots of people accused of saying that when they give any criticism of Biden, but I’ve yet to actually see someone actually say that. At least my personal experience is like 10:0 of people accusing a specific person of saying that to the person actually saying that. That kind of POV I saw a lot more during Obama vs Romney, but not Biden vs Trump.
Just because someone says they’re not voting for someone who actively helps fund genocide doesn’t mean they’re saying the major alterative is equal. Just that neither major candidate passes the extremely low bar to be willing to vote for them.
Been a while since I looked, but last time I checked around me, the starting price for any work like that was like $200 (maybe it was less?). Not exactly worth it for a $300 phone that’s already aging unless you need data off it or something. Granted, YMMV with pricing.
Dyson sphere is been in EA for years as well, and its probably going to be in my top 3 games for 2024 (which is when I started playing - at almost 200 hours), alongside Palworld, also in EA. Palworld can still be a bit buggy (maybe yesterday’s update fixed some of that?) and DSP expects a much better CPU than I have (which is mostly a me problem, given my CPU is coming up on 10 years old but is a problem eventually for everyone at the extreme late-game I think)
Clockwise/counterclockwise still depends on which way you are looking at it. Sometimes you have to unscrew things from the other side.
