Honestly this is less true the more you bake. I find myself tearing recipes apart and substituting/modifying amounts of all sorts of ingredients.

Sure if you want to make a fluffy white cake or a classic chocolate chip cookie you better do that by the book but you can get pretty creative with baking if you know what you’re doing.

Right? Even though I make garbage for pay my restaurant job is pretty nice. Keeps me active all day, sharpens my wits, relatively simple, and free food to top it all off.

Obviously if you can make more money doing something else then do it but I’m content with my life right now.

You’re just missing genuine community and human interaction. It is a huge lack of it in today’s world. But you can fight back just you know group up with your friends and have that lan party you miss

None of you have apparently had “drinking chocolate” before because it is usually a very thick liquid you can only really sip a thimbleful at a time because it is so rich. It can’t be made with a mix.
