Hey someone help me out, how many people could Biden have freed from prison for drug possession charges if he just pardoned as many as he could? Assuming he was a good person, I mean.

Yeah, more or less proven with Reagan, Trump, and Biden all having dementia while in office.
Even if Putin were solely responsible for Trump winning (he isn’t, far right domestic media like Fox News had and has far more of an effect, remember that Cambridge Analytica was British, and Trump would likely still be a political nobody if the Democrats hadn’t boosted him as part of their “Pied Piper” strategy) it must be noted that this would essentially be Russia doing to the US what the US did to Russia when it supported Yeltsin’s coup. Imo if a country flagrantly subverts the democracies of other countries all the time, that same country can’t really complain when other countries do the same to it.
Do we think Vance is stupid enough to not understand that NATO primarily benefits the US? If “Europe” is cut off from the US, they’re going to make deals with China and (to a lesser extent) Russia. Trump obviously doesn’t understand shit, but Vance is the puppet of Peter Thiel, who you’d think would know better.
Where will “I’ll attack them coz they attacked me coz I attacked them coz they attacked me…” finally lead to?
The end of Israel as an apartheid genocidal settler-colonial state. You can look to South Africa for an example.
The point is that Nagasaki and Hiroshima weren’t exceptional, but rather typical of US bombing strategies against civilian populations that the US has continued to use into the modern day.
IIRC the damage inflicted by the atomic bombings weren’t especially noteworthy compared to the rest of the bombing campaign, and it was more a way to test out their new toys. If the nukes hadn’t been used but conventional bombing had continued, it would likely have had a similar result. This video by Shaun lays out a pretty compelling case that the Japanese surrender was due to the Soviet declaration of war and invasion of Manchuria.
This is all ignoring of course that despite the insistence of unconditional surrender, the Americans accepted surrender with conditions and allowed the emperor to continue to hold his titles anyway. There’s definitely something to be said about taking maximalist positions just to make a point even when they don’t actually care about several of the goals that make up those positions.
This is apparently not the original version, but in the context in which it’s used on hexbear, this is the full image:
President Xi, the people of Occupied Cascadia yearn for freedom, please send Chengdu J-20 stealth fighters.
I guess “The US will very likely end the world in nuclear hellfire” doesn’t roll of the tongue as well.
You forgot Women’s Beach Volleyball.
Partly (the article does refer to it being the language of NATO), but it looks to be more about joining the EU.
They want the ability to shoot down other countries’ satellites when they go to war with them. Things like disabling communication satellites and GPS (or Russia’s equivalent, GLONASS).
Kessler Syndrome? Never heard of it.
For the record it’s 5 white people, 1 Palestinian, 1 Indian-australian. And he still doesn’t care, but the optics of being seen not to care would be bad. Seems like he’s now aware that he’s going to eat shit in the election this fall and is trying to appear as though he opposes the genocide while doing nothing to stop it.
Real bookheads know that Arthur Dayne could maybe take Aragorn but Jamie is a chump.
If they’re not executing nazis in the streets they’re not stopping them from assuming power.
Only cool people are capable of doing it as a bit
Why the fuck did they not sign this?
Boris Johnson (aka NATO) told them to die to the last Ukrainian instead. Literally “the west [wasn’t] ready for the war to end”.
Should’ve just thrown him in a
IIRC rent and food are relatively cheap compared to the US, and you don’t have to own a car which is a pretty big savings.
