I had been wondering how so many cars got charred when Hamas was only armed with light weapons. I guess the answer is the Israeli Air Force.

Israel’s far-right finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, said in May that Israel should approve 10,000 settlements in the West Bank, establish a new settlement for every country that recognizes a state of Palestine, and cancel travel permits for Palestinian Authority officials.
Emphasis mine because I can’t believe how childish that is.
According toReuters, “two children were among the dead laid out” at Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital following Thursday’s strike. Mourners told the outlet that “the children had been killed along with their mother.”
“This is not war, it is destruction that words are unable to express,” said Abu Mohammed Abu Saif, **the father of the two children. **
This man just lost his wife and 2 kids. That must be unbearable.
I can’t believe that the
inaugural editor-in-chief of SAPIR: A Journal of Jewish Conversations
who
From 2002 to 2004… was editor-in-chief of The Jerusalem Post.
and
is known for his neoconservative foreign policy opinions
and
is a supporter of Israel
could possibly write a propaganda piece to do damage to Palestinians.
Imagine if his other literary masterpieces included things like
Stephens called antisemitism “the disease of the Arab mind”
a December 2019 column titled “The Secrets of Jewish Genius”,[41] in which he contended that Ashkenazi Jews have superior intelligence
That would be totally crazy, right?!
The quoted info is from the Wikipedia page about him. I’m not going to link it because you need to learn how to look things up.
Edit: and NYT still publishing pro-Israel propaganda written by racists smdh
Lol yea, but do you see the contradiction between
In those 75 years, many Israeli people were born on this land, and it really is their home.
and a state being established through the ethnic cleansing of Palestine? Israel spends a lot of money on PR to whitewash that.
So you’re saying that Israel has no right to exist?
“Israel has not shared complete information to verify whether U.S. defense articles covered under NSM-20 were specifically used in actions that have been alleged as violations of IHL or IHRL in Gaza, or in the West Bank and East Jerusalem during the period of the report,” it said.
Because of that, the administration said it still finds credible Israel’s assurances that it is using U.S. weapons in accordance with international law.
The perpetrator didn’t tell us what happened so we find their written assurance of innocence still valid.
That’s the UN charter, not the UN partition plan for mandatory Palestine. Israel was established through military aggression, which is what Russia is currently trying to do in Ukraine.
In those 75 years, many Israeli people were born on this land, and it really is their home.
Wait so this concept is only valid for Israelis?
Saying, for instance, that “the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor” would be deemed anti-Semitic under its terms. The definition also bars any comparison between “contemporary Israeli policy” and “that of the Nazis”.
Lmao this is a guilty conscience talking.
just for being Jewish
I think it was because of Israeli actions in Palestine, not just because of their ethnicity.
Zionists are using Jews as human shields.
':D too soon
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acre,_Israel
Before the 1948 Arab-Israeli War broke out, the Carmeli Brigade’s 21 Battalion commander had repeatedly damaged the Al-Kabri aqueduct that furnished Acre with water, and when Arab repairs managed to restore water supply, then resorted to pouring flasks of typhoid and dysentery bacteria into the aqueduct, as part of a biological warfare programme. At some time in late April or early May 1948, - Jewish forces had cut the town’s electricity supply responsible for pumping water - a typhoid epidemic broke out. Israeli officials later credited the facility with which they conquered the town in part to the effects of the demoralization induced by the epidemic.[50]
Israel’s Carmeli forces attacked on May 16 and, after an ultimatum was delivered that, unless the inhabitants surrendered, ‘we will destroy you to the last man and utterly,’[51] the town notables signed an instrument of surrender on the night between 17–18 May 1948.
No, war doesn’t count. Someone please tell Putin while we’re at it.
Alright, thanks. I took your advice and I think I found my answer in the 1948 Palestine war:
During the war, the British withdrew from Palestine, Zionist forces conquered territory and established the State of Israel, and over 700,000 Palestinians fled or were expelled. It was the first war of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict and the broader Arab–Israeli conflict.
So how were they established?
That still doesn’t answer the question. The second sentence in the Wikipedia article about the partition plan for Palestine is
On 29 November 1947, the UN General Assembly adopted the Plan as Resolution 181 (II).
so I’m not really sure how you got the idea that this was “just a proposal”.
The article you linked says
The United States says an independent Palestinian state should be established through direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority and not through UN action.
which makes it even more unclear. Was Israel created through UN action or did they just steal the land and expel the Palestinians? Did they negotiate directly with the Palestinians in 1948 and arrive on the agreement to share the land according to the borders that existed before 1967?
If you (or anyone) actually have an answer, I’d be happy to hear it.
So why does Israel exist?
So then what was this about?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Partition_Plan_for_Palestine
Did it not create a Jewish state and an Arab state i.e. Israel and Palestine?
Let’s wait and see, Israel had said that it will not investigate incidents of friendly fire on Oct 7.
