It’s called The Toughsheet Community Stadium these days. 🤮.
But yeah it’s a great store and it’s fun to wander around looking at everything.

Yes I believe it is. They had a couple shops here in Manchester. Now they have a large place in Horwich near the Bolton Wanderers stadium.
It’s my goto for all my computer supplies. Customers service is still great.
Thanks for explaining what they might have meant as I was a little confused.
It depends on the product, but here is such a site for computer hardware Scan
I’m not sure what you mean?
I’ve not used Amazon for purchases in around 5 years and my life is no worse.
I’ll often use it to find products and then buy them else where but as this post highlights it’s so annoying seeing the ads all the way and not just organic listing of products.
No they don’t.
I could earn double my low salary, as a software developer, working for say a gambling company, but I’d rather make less and not propagate misery from predatory industries.
Seems hyperbolic to assume we will be extinct by 9999.
Sure we’re heading for a climate crisis, but I don’t think all humans will be dead; Just the poorest.
There is nothing wrong with that.
Not sure how you’re browsing Lemmy but many apps will let you filter out content you don’t want to see, perhaps that will make your experience more tailored. I personally use Voyager for iOS.
Being country agnostic for a moment, I don’t really see how other methods have been able to bring about change. You can try protesting and the police will beat you, you can try petitions but nothing changes, you can march and nothing changes.
Wasn’t it JFK that said something along the lines of you don’t allow a peaceful revolution then you make a violent one inevitable.
I’m not out here being violent, but I can’t say I’m sad about Brian Thompson, in fact I’m filled with glee that this might bring about some change for my American counterparts.
Not surprised you’re not down with killing CEOs or blowing up the government, it seems they work for you more so than the USA and UK.
Which country would that be?
You would have been saying the same if we were alive and talking about Guy Fawkes after he tried to blow up Parliament.
He stood the test of time, so why wouldn’t Luigi.
After the CEO has ceased to exist we could get the boulder back and make a statue of that CEO, as a a warning to others.
Do you ship to the UK. /s
Yes, according to my Kagi search.
Some people must have face blindness cause to me this dude looks like the other pictures we saw after the shooting.
Perhaps he had a scholarship for being good at sports or was very bright.
Yes, it appears to be a local business. Makes me wonder how inexpensive it might be to get a stadium named after you or how large this company is.
Depending how far you would be taking the train it could be fun. I would stress though it’s not huge, but they have some cool pc builds you can see, obviously all products you can buy and then a few custom rigs like for F1 Sims where it has the seat and wheel you can try.
