They are regulated - their nutrition label tells you exactly how much added sugars there are. You can’t really regulate how much sugar can be in “sauce” before it’s no longer considered a sauce (like subways bread being legally cake) because sauce is incredibly broad and already includes dessert sauces anyway.
You can make yogurt in an instantpot with very little work (heat up milk, leave on the yogurt setting for 8-12 hours, done) in about 12 hours, highly recommend it. Only ingredients are milk and yogurt with live cultures (which you can buy once, then just freeze a few oz of your homemade yogurt to use for making more yogurt in the future), you can add as much or little sugar, honey, etc as you want. To make it into Greek yogurt or cheese, just strain through cheesecloth for different amounts of time. Can even use the drained whey for protein shakes if that’s your thing.

It’s more work than just cooking down tomatoes, but it’s so worth it. I do double, triple, or quadruple batches and freeze it in 32 oz mason jars. Great on eggs, pizza, pasta, base for soups, burgers, and anything else you want tomato flavor added to really

I’m very partial to doom emacs. I love the emacs ecosystem but the default editor made me want to cry, doom emacs gives the awesome text editing of vim with the awesome ecosystem of emacs (significantly smoother than viper too)

I use vim keybinds (via doom emacs) for this sort of stuff if I’m doing it for personal projects, my professional work is all done in an online platform (no way around it) so it’s just faster and easier to throw the pattern and columns at the integrated chatgpt terminal rather than hop to a local editor and back
I use chatgpt semi-often… For generating stuff in a repeating pattern. Any time I have used it to make code, I don’t save any time because I have to debug most of the generated code anyway. My main use case lately is making python dicts with empty keys (e.g. key1, key2… becomes “key1”: “”, “key2”: “”,…) or making a gold/prod level SQL view by passing in the backend names and frontend names (e.g. value_1, value_2… Value 1, Value 2,… Becomes value_1 as Value 1,…).

For anyone who hasn’t heard of doom Emacs, it’s emacs with a lot of customizations baked into it, one of the biggest selling points is that everything uses vim keybinds now (where it makes sense). You get the amazing ecosystem of emacs with the ease of movement and editing of vim, plus a lot of other QOL features. It’s also just vanilla emacs with pre-made (and easy to edit) config files and helper functions so you can move over existing stuff if you want, and you don’t have to worry since all the emacs packages will still work, since it’s still emacs

I don’t use readonly with dbeaver, but I do have the prod servers set to automatically make transactions and have to hit a button to commit. Almost certain it asks confirmation that I want to make the changes to prod which is nice too (I rarely have to touch our sql server prod)
I’m a data engineer that occasionally has to work in sql server, I use dbeaver and have our prod servers default to auto-wrap in transactions and I have to push a button and confirm I know it’s prod before it commits changes there, it’s great and has saved me when I accidentally had a script switch servers. For the sandbox server I don’t have that on because the changes there don’t matter except for testing, and we can always remake the thing from scratch in a few hours. I haven’t had an oppsie yet and I hope to keep that streak

Pro tip: transactions are your friend
It’s added sugar - and yoplait/chobani add a lot of sugar. Yogurt with no added sugar has no more sugar than the milk used to make it does and it is mouth-puckeringly tangy. I make my own yogurt and you pretty much need honey with it to make it palatable with fruit (some people eat unsweetened yogurt without the honey… Those people scare me)
