My windows ssd died about 2 weeks ago, but I was dual booting.
Took out the windows drive, slapped in a new one and I was no longer getting failed smart checks.
Happy to say that the windows drive that died was replaced with a new 990… that’ll be more storage for my Fedora Plasma system instead of getting windows 10 reinstalled. Win 11 was never a consideration but I did want to keep 10 around for as long as I could.

I left Facebook in 2009 or 2010 or so, but I attempted to register a facebook account for my business over the weekend. I can confirm, it wanted a selfie of my business. Wasn’t sure what to do with that, so I still don’t have a facebook account for my business.
Played a show in Cambridge, MA back in 2007. After the show I needed to take a shit so they told me to use the women’s room since the mens’ room was only urinals.
Women’s room toilet had soft serve instead of a toilet seat. Someone literally just shit on top of the toilet. I chalked it up to a Massachusetts thing and moved to Colorado.

I’m in the “there is no purpose,” camp. It seems like a bit of a mental disorder to me to (without any evidence) assume that oneself or one’s species isn’t just hanging around by random happenstance. Wouldn’t that simply be narcissism? People have long asked the question, “why are we here?” Yet there’s never been and never will be a definitive answer.
