What are the advantages of hurd over Linux?

There is two other paths:

• Gnu herd
• Plan9

Aside from the UI being different (I slightly prefer Lemmy’s one) there is a lot of features it has which Lemmy doesn’t.

I don’t see why people call it hard coded when it’s possible to disable. That’s not what hard coded means, it’s just coded.

It lets you browse all the comments for cross posts on the same page.

I honestly haven’t noticed a different except Wayland feeling a bit faster.
