The reality is that every American has experienced this for their entire lives at this point. The actual popular opinion is “I don’t actually care because every public bathroom I have been in since the 40s is like this.”
This reminds me of the brief stint I had as a Java web developer in the early 2000s. My boss, the VP of the company, told me to throw together an e-commerce site on my last day that everyone knew about. I stared blankly at him for a few seconds then shrugged and turned back around to the IRC chat I had open via SSH.
I’m not sure how to feel. Her username is a literal threat.

I (machinist) have only seen a few large US firms or companies send me a metric print. Different worlds, I guess.
