Programming@programming.dev•Mini Logo Interpreter in 120 lines of pure JS
21·1 month agoFine, I changed it to 120. I didn’t count precisely, just ballpark to give the readers an idea of the complexity level.

Technology@lemmy.ml•How to emulate ZX Spectrum on emulated Commodore 64 on emulated DOS on emulated Windows on Linux
2·4 months agoYes. Did you read the disclaimer?
Disclaimer: WINE means 'Wine Is Not an Emulator", so the statement about four layers of emulation is really a lie. To make things worse, the ZX Spectrum emulator for C64 only emulates Basic, not machine code. But that’s ok, because it all looks the same and the whole exercise is pointless anyway.

Technology@lemmy.ml•How to emulate ZX Spectrum on emulated Commodore 64 on emulated DOS on emulated Windows on Linux
2·4 months agoThere are of course Atari and Apple emulators, but there are no emulators for those systems, so from that perspective they would be a dead end. I tried adding one level (C64 emulator for Amiga), but don’t know how to emulate HDD on Amiga.
