  • Just from an environmental standpoint anything that reduces the expansion of AI farms is desirable.

Giving LLMs a free pass on abusing copyright and fair use rules is such a double standard. YouTubers who use a snippet of music get the earnings from their video stolen by rights trolls.

For me, the dream is every AI result coming with a citation list showing what sources were used.

  • I’ve only watched the first 4 mins but it sounds insane so far. Like they were expecting this woman to have a small army hiding in her cupboards. I’ll definitely watch the rest, though I understand this is her own version of events. Maybe I’ll post a summary of some sort. Few things rock me enough to motivate me to do anything much in response, but this seems insane.

I’m aware of the claims that she made some stupid statements about the holocaust. Interestingly those are published on pro-israel sites. I’ve seen other news outlets say those claims were debunked. Either way it doesn’t matter. It is her treatment by the police that works be the focus here.

There are people who always have super solid movements that don’t leave a trail. Many of us have a variety of textures that smear as they exit. A bidet removes the majority of it but never all, and wiping reveals what is left behind.

You still have to wipe though, right? Using just water to clean it off your arm would still leave a stain. You have to make contact to rub away what remains somehow.

I’ve used a few bidets and while it was fun and they did an ok job there was no soap involved and I still had to wipe. I don’t hate them, they make some sense, but a bidet is not magic.
