Palestinian supporters: “Being pro Palestine is not the same as being antisemitic.”
Also Palestinian supporters:
This is honestly pretty frequent if you shop for anything beyond staple items. Like, pine nuts are not with the other nuts, for example. Cocktail garnishes are not with the other pickles. Canning pectin is not with the jello, etc.
You just can’t really trust the signs that much. At least in this case it was an entire visible section and not a single tiny box they hid among a bunch of tangentially related items.
I suppose the difference is that a country doesn’t just get conquered by force if it stops polluting.
It’s not like China is going to stop making weapons if I refuse to make weapons.
I have gotten banned from .ml twice for merely stating that Russia shot down a civilian airliner in Ukraine.
Do people really remember that much before age 10? I have a few core memories but general cultural awareness is pretty lacking and mostly based on hindsight.
“Right, so you see, when a conductor is passed through a magnetic field, an electromotive force is produced, and this force can perform work, which can in turn be used to represent probabilistic information…”
It’s not even an issue of population. Communism requires material conditions you simply cannot create by killing the opposition, no matter how much you desire to preserve “the revolution.”
Capitalism is but one manifestation of material and labor scarcity. Until those things are eliminated you will experience the exact same ills in one form or another. Until those things are eliminated the only option available is harm reduction. Revolutionary communism fails specifically because it fails to recognize itself as a particularly shitty form of harm reduction, insisting the entire concept is bourgeoise propaganda. This is what contemporary leftist theorists have come understand, and what obnoxious internet edgelords refuse to acknowledge, because it requires admitting that Stalin and Mao didn’t get it right.
Ironically this is literally the foundation of Dengism and modern China, which MLs say they like, until you reduce it to first principles, at which point it once again becomes bourgeoise propaganda.
Nutonic is literally a transphobe who is on record as saying that trans rights are western degeneracy
Sure, in the same way I appreciate Kant or Kierkegaard or any other modernist - as foundational thinkers who laid the groundwork for more contemporary ideas. The entire issue is that so many internet leftists take Marx as dogma, and are often poor students of philosophy outside of that very narrow context, yet will lecture you about how you only disagree with them because you haven’t read enough year one polisci material. ML spaces are as dunning Kruger as the internet gets.
I like socialism too. But I hate bootlicking authoritarian simps who pretend like they know shit about socialism because they read that one Lenin essay on Marxist.org
Nyet comrade. Is liberal American racism of Russia phobia to criticize purge of Ukraine Nazi from motherland.
This isn’t as limiting as it seems at first glance though. Sending pictures of a true one time pad cipher doesn’t rely on the security of the transport or the camera. From there you can choose to make a compromise of convenience and get to things like Private key cryptography where the ciphers are done via basic xor arithmetic you can do by hand.
It can’t be. The entire concept is a Trojan horse to kill the anonymous internet.
But what a fine nose it is.
If elected president my first order of business will be to make all birth certificates fully unicode compatible.
It’s not 50% more though. I track my groceries closely going back almost ten years and it’s more like a 15% increase in staple items compared to 2018. Processed food, luxury meat and frozen food is like 30-60% higher (my data on this is less robust) but milk, eggs and bread is not 50% more expensive unless you are buying the most expensive options.
You can literally go look at commodity market price history. Wheat is 9% above 2018. Cheese is 6% higher. Milk +17%, rice +10%, eggs +12%.
I find that analog reflections have a warmer, more pleasant tone.
