It comes from a time where your whole family lived in the same house and the kids eventually take care of their parents. In todays system where people usually dont live with their parents for very long, it doesnt really make sense anymore. People need money long before they get to the age where their parents die. Getting a bunch of money at 30, to establish a life/family, is much more useful and long term impactful than getting it at 50-60. So inheritance is a flawed idea from the start.

Donating to a party, posting a meme about a politician, writing an article about climate change, and yes killing the leader of a company while clearly targeting them for their decisions that negatively impacted the public and sparking the biggest public discourse about said industry in decades.

Reservists are soldiers that were drafted, served and then went back to doing civilian stuff. In Israels case there are probably no reservists that did not get deployed in some capacity. The chance that any randomly picked reservist has not participated in genocide, torture or at least unjust abuse of people from Gaza or the Westbank is pretty damn low.

While they do affect the skyline, i find them kind of a great. Its like wind turbines, they serve a very easy to understand purpose and exist for everyone while having only little environmental impact and lasting a lomg ass time. Compared to infrastructure like starlink which will only ever serve a few people, obstructs the entire sky for everyone from any angle and will only function for a few(5) years before having to be replaced.
