Due to a financial situation I won’t pay M365 anymore and wanted to use MAS for office activation.
I heard the script is open source, but would you trust it?
Why not switch to LibreOffice?
Because OP wants to use MSO.
yeah I’ve been using libreoffice for years as a young adult but in the last years I personally enjoyed MSO more

I’ve been subject to MSO for decades. LibreOffice was a welcome change.
